Litecoin might surpass Ethereum but it's not in the near future. It might hit 500$ in this year but I don't think it'll ever hit 1k$ till 2020. Play long if you like.

I dont think Litecoin might surpass Ethereum and it's too hard to Litecoin can reach $500 in 2018 although Litecoin is increasing very strong because it prepare Hard Fork but it can't pass $300. The price of Litecoin will stable in range of $150 - $300 in 2018.

IMO $1000 is way too much.

The Lighting Network is having and will have a huge impact over LTC price, but I predict max. $400-$450 for this year. The $1000 range is putting LTC over current ETH!

Fixed for clarity. In essence if the market is bullish and LTC pumps, ETH will most certainly pump as well, it wont stay static. Especially with the roadmap it has ahead of it for the year as well...

I want to believe that LTC will go 1K this year but I already here long ago when LTC is just a mere $4/BTC and he was left alone by many cryptocurrencies. I hate to say this but I don't believe 1K will be reached this year because LTC is a slow mover despite of the huge following it enjoys.

The price of a LightCoin on average never exceeds 5% of BitCoin price. Usually it is 2-3% of BTC price.
If LTC price will be 1k$, then BTC price should be 20k-30k$...

I definitely think it can reach $1,000 by the end of the year, as it is way faster and cheaper to send transactions with Litecoin than it is BTC, ETH, or BCH. With the introduction of Litepay, and then supporting segwit will be big developments for Litecoin this year as far as usage goes. The biggest question on whether it will reach the $1,000 mark in price will be whether the scaling efforts work for the project or not. I definitely think Charlie Lee has been rejuvenated with new ideas for the project as well, so there could be all kinds of upgrades in store for LTC this year. That's just my speculation though.

I would not be surprised at such a price for lightcoin this year, the coin is promising, the technology is excellent, fast transactions, only up)

Unfortunately, LitePay VISA cards program got delayed, which is very bad news for Litecoin prices at the moment. Even worse the team kept silent till the last moment. But if they let it comes true eventually, LitePay will bring the 2nd breath into Litecoin and will make the price to reach 1k.
