Think about it , electronium gained so much fame because it had a mobile miner and what happened? People with vegas murdered the difficulty making it impossible to mine on phones. But what if there's a algorithm only mineable on phones or will mine very very slowly on x86 x64 and GPUs it would solve most of the problems of electronium users who want to mine and spend everything on their phones

Mining with a cell phone is going to shorten the life of your phone.  Do you really want to do that with an expensive smart phone?  I'll stick to mining ETN with my Vega's.

Why do people think mining on phones is a good idea?

They don't think to start with.  And then they realize how easy it would be to download an app and start mining, so they see the ease and the $$$ they think they'll end up with, but never will makes them think it's a good idea.  That's my take on it anyway.
