Dears;

I have Asrock h110 pro btc+ mianboard  + 1200 W PSU and 5 X rx 580  ..

There 13 slots for graphic cards 7 of them white and 6 of them are black.

Weirdly white slots are not working but there is no problem with the blacks.

What can cause this problem? Do you have  any idea..

tell me how you test it till you said that a white socket didn't work? try to plug only one card to white PCIe socket!. or may you could try one by one PCIe 1x white with only 1 card on it to make sure that all of PCIe 1X white didn't work.

Hello, first I plugged first gpu to pci 16x, and after  for second gpu I have tried all sockets one by one, with black sockets it works with white sockets it doesnt. Is it related to psu? Idont know are they seperately gets power from the psu since h110 pro btc+ has extra power cable from psu... or I've burned somehow white sockets if they are connectted each other..

Extra power only needed when you are using a lot of GPU (normally more than 3 GPU). if you are using the same PSU with the only one card that you plug into the mobo for testing, it isn't PSU problem I think. Have you tried with the mobo bios settings?

Hi,

Did you solve this? I got the same problem with H110 Pro. Using 4 GPUs Nitro+ RX580, Corsair PSU RM850x. White slot are not working, but it's working good with black slot.

there is on asrock official site, a bios update v1.60 with description "Include PCIe Slot Detection in BIOS Setup"..

maybe flashing this bios update make all pcie slots visible on bios setup so "gen 1" is settable for all pcie slots?!?!?!?

I already flashed to v1.60. PCIe detected on BIOS but it's still not working.

You mention you only have 5 pcs of rx 580s? If you aren't trying to run any more than that then it shouldn't matter. The BIOS screen is probably is displaying that the others slots are not working because you have no other GPUs plugged into them? Once you have 13 GPUs and have a real problem thats probably when you should start asking.

I think it is a problem. Since I have plan to buy 5 more cards and 4 of them will not work.

By the way I have updates bios and in UEFI all plugged black slots  seems green, the empties are no color, but when I  changed one of card which plugged black slots to white slots, in uefi that white slot color chage no color into red color.  Huh

Same issue here.. all black slots are working but when I change a gpu from black slot to white slot is not detected.

So none of the white slots are working, they appear red in pcie detection bios.

Latest bios 1.60
