Technically speaking, hindi direkta na Bitcoin yung tinanggap nila kundi yung Blockchain technology na ginagamit na din ngayon sa iba pang fintech companies sa ibang bansa. If I am mistaken, ang technology na yun ay yung tinatawag na hyperledger fabric na dinevelop ng Linux Foundation. Gamit na yan ng mga malalaking kumpanya tulad ng IBM at Mastercard. Sa ngayon hindi lang Unionbank ang mag-aadopt sa kanya kundi maging na din yung iba pang bangko dito sa Pinas tulad ng Citibank, EastWest Bank, BPI, BDO, Metropolitan Bank, etc. Mga early this year nila din siguro yan iaannounce, nauna lang ang Unionbank.

You all guys should read the article before posting a comment. It is not Bitcoin that they want to embrace, it is the technology behind it, which is yung blockchain technology. They can see it na pwedeng ma-improve ng blockchain ang system ng mga bangko, sabi sa article balak nilang mag offer ng first blockchain payment system for businesses called Visa Business to Business Connect which means hindi gagamitin ang Bitcoin dahil nga hindi stable ang value nito. Misleading ang title ng thread mo sir, dapat nakalagay diyan "Unionbank embraces blockchain technology" not Bitcoin. Although alam naman natin na hindi mahigpit ang bank na ito sa pag purchase ng cryptocurrency gamit ang service nila, impossibleng gamitin nila ang Bitcoin for their banking system kasi wala silang control dito at yung nga hindi stable ang price.

Madami na ding mga banko ang tlagang nag aaddopt ng bitcoin ang problema nga lang hindi ka pa pwedeng mag cash in sa kanila at di pa pwedeng malaman na ang income mo e nanggagaling sa bitcoin . Kaya mas maganda kung maddaopt ng mga banko ang bitcoin e totally na yung tipong kahit millions na ang makita nilang pera mo dahil sa bitcoin e walang pagsara ng account na mangyayare.
