How many blades? did you have in mind?

Personally, if you have the loot to invest in a 60GH/s miner. The first thing id look at is what is the overclocking potential of the unit.

Who's 60GHS unit?

I'd rather buy the Blades, because they're available.  Order today and you could have them tomorrow.  20BTC will get you 52GH if you get the old Blades and overclock.  They'll be mining sooner rather than later.

Why do you want to lose more and more money? This is not an investment. Its burning  money...

Just keep the coins... all mining hardware has negative ROI

With no power costs, I'd guess that 12 BTC for a 60GH/s unit would be good.  Including $400 travel.

I know you're looking for an "in hand" unit but your money would be much better spent on a good preorder.

For just a bit more than BTC20 you could get an October starter kit and 3 H boards from Bitfury (MegaBigPower - US and BitfuryStrikesBack -EU) for 100GHs.  Bitfury is most assuredly not a scam.  They've delivered (pretty much) on time for the August orders.

And for just a few more BTC you could get a November preorder from KNC and be hashing at 200GHs in a couple of months.

Of course there is absolutely no assurance that you will earn back your investment.  But your odds are better than over-paying now... I would guess.

Having said all that, I've recently bought 6 Blades and 2 Bitfury starter kits from resellers.  I also have preorders with BFL (Monarch), Bitfury and KNC.  So I understand the desire to have your miners in your hands now rather than preorders that will arrive much later.  And reseller prices on eBay and in this forum are dropping fast.  So you may even want to wait a week or two as I suspect that at least Blades are due for a sizable price cut.

IMO, stay away from the other preorders, cointerra, hashfast, etc. until things settle down and their legitimacy can be reasonably assured.

I have 50 Block Eruptors + X1 7950 + x17870 mining

I have about 20BTC bitcoins to invest....I am not sure if I should buy some blades or buy a 60gh/s UNIT

thoughts?

FYI all of my gear is house in a warehouse. I do not pay for POWER<-----

Keep buying blades as many models are not so trustful.

I've been mining since november 2012........ with my x4 7950's + x1 7970 + x1 7870

Umm....I've made my ROI and then SOME.

Thanks for your input though.

that was a different time.

you will lose massive amounts of money if you go through with this, unless you are betting btc price will rise dramatically.

... in which case you're still losing money compared to simply holding btc.
