So I am using the Verge-QT wallet for XVG minning.  unlike other wallets, there is no need phases to recovery your private keys.  Seems the only way I can backup my wallet is to select file -> backup wallet.

Question, as I get more coins in my wallet, do I need to keep backing up my wallet to ensure the added coins are secured or by backing up my wallet once, that backup contains the private keys and all I need to in the future to recover my wallet with all the up to date coins is simply restore that backup file?  if  need to keep backing up the file to ensure all my coins continue to be safe, is there a command line backup using switches in DOS that I can schedule to run each day?

I hope all I need to do is backup the wallet once and I will be good to go

Thanks folks

If you are back up your Privkey, you don't need to do regular backup. in the future, when you need to restore it, just restore your Privkey and sync with the network. Keep your Privkey in the safe places.

Usually, you have to backup your wallet once.
But it can be somme issue if the wallet is not a HD wallet if you use more tan 100 addresses.
The best is to make a backup each time you have a transaction out.

To backup your private key, have you try the command "dumpprivkey <public key>" ?
