dead coin ? yes,a lot of them.
even a half-dead coin,
the biggest mistake that i ever made was investing my money to voxelus project which was lead me to -70% loss in total.
another one called cube project or something like that.
from that point i could see,
we can not blindly believe them and we need to make our own research.
even though nothing wrong with it based on our research we should know that everything can be happen with it tomorrow or today,
also,an existing project can not guarantee us anything.

When I started in the crypto world I bought several coins, created several projects to make big profits, I created strategies and concepts thinking that I would win, I will not mention the coins here because of ethics, but 70% of what I invested, it was deads coins with no future, I regretted a lot. My learning in this situation was to properly study each project and to be attentive to the fundamentalist news and to study and analyze the graphs.

Have you ever supported, bought or mined a coin that died later on? Why did you support it? What did you learn from it?
Yes and now we see many dead coins coming back to life with new teams, for example DIME is back with a new team, POP is back, PAC also so if there are a few satoshi lying around it wouldn't be crazy to invest in a few 1 satoshi coins.

That might be a pretty good idea to be honest, takes small amounts of money, and can yield outstanding incomes. Might try it sometimes, for fun Cool

Many times over the years Smiley

Sometimes just for fun, sometimes because I like the dev team. But fails are inevitable with 2000 coins around.

Never put more than you can afford to lose on any coin.

All of us do not want to fail nor support any dead coin. But unfortunately some did because they are not aware that it is a dead coin. Me also i got a dead coin from airdrops, but i never received dead coin from the ICO bounty ever since. For you to avoid supporting dead coin, you should choose those who are very popular and more investors who are investing because dead coin will be dead if no one or less are investing from it.

I have supported dead coin once it is shadowcash and i am not down because of that death coin. Because i always put money i can afford to lose. My other investment going 10x thats why we need to devirsify our investment. Sometimes we invest on stall or fail project and sometimes very good project which can gives you at least 10x ico price.

I've done very old times, when I first joined crypto I spend 2 BTC total about $ 700, I feel bored BTC trading because the price is stable for 2 months.
and I tried to put 1 BTC in the coin with high volume but with down price. i buy that coin when chart -80% from market .im buy 1 BTC + and then
tomorrow the price is going down -80 again and the next day -60%, that's my very bad experience. and stupidly ane still defend them in ann thread and give a sweet talk to investor to keep hold. and in reality the coin is already DEAD.

I have never supported a dead coin, fortunately all my coin has a good price and even they are volatile, they still in the track. I will try my best to avoid dead coin or probably will be a dead coin, by learning deeply about the dev's and the project.

I buy altcoins and perform bounties of companies of various projects! And all the coins that I receive, I do not sell, but keep them for future growth in them! I do this, because even if I sell these coins, I will not make a big profit! But if they grow in the future, then it will be a good income!

Yes, I ever bought a coin that later on got no value, and not once but a lot of time, that is the risk of buying ICO or alt coins, sometimes the alt coin can give you a lot of profit but sometimes losing money, but since the alt coin that I bought is cheap so I don't really care, I learn that I need to find a lot of source to get the right coin to invest

Many of us are afraid to support coins that are very cheap or suppose it is dead coin, but for me it's an opportunity and to everyone to buy. Example, Like as doge coin the value dropped 17 satoshi last year November 20, 2017.  Which everyone thought it was a dead coin, But after two months January 10, 2018 the Value has increased to 105 satoshi and now is 58 satoshi.

I bought one coin earlier. Invested around 1700$ and devs left the project. Price dropped, but I didn't sold any of it. I wanted to sell at one point, but that would mean that I lost the money for sure, so I hold it more. After 6 months new team took the project and they started to developing it. I doubled my money (at one point it was 4x), but I'm still holding it. It's just started to grow. New website is coming out and other stuff and I will wait. I guess I was lucky that someone continued to develop, otherwise my money would be lost. It's not the lonely case of bringing dead coin alive, but watch out in both ways.

That was so hard for you.. I admit that you were just lucky with that but some of us just listening to some ambitious developers with no progress of their coin and we all look like stupid. Its better to identify the team first and its marketing strategies and the most important their releasing product that we could assure that our investment will grow 100%.

Well I never really invested on somekinda dead or halfdead coin in the market. Those kind of coins are actually hard to find, isn't it? you need to look for weird unknown exchanges. I always use better exchanges from polo to bittrex to binance and none of them have dead or half dead alts as far as I remember.

Depending on the coins but I think it is not worth 90% of the time unless you are full time crypto trader or in pump and dump group since you will never know when death coins will pump again and the pump only last few hours to one day. If you bough death coins because you still believe in the project, I think it may work but it is more like gambling in 2018 since we have almost 2000 altcoins unlike in 2015.

Yeah its a good choice those big exchange avoid all dead projects and they delisted all no future coins. We can assure on that way that we were not fall on some dead coins. Unlike the etherdelta always being crowded with all dead coins.

I do not support dead coins, because I carefully analyze the prospects. Dead coins are usually created without sufficient training and awareness in the field of crypto currency.

I did twice...SIGT and CFD.  Taught me the importance of a good team.

Supported because of greed.  Flash growth blinded me.

Now you know how important is the team should have good team of developer.  Dont miss it again.
I know also this is very important but sometime very difficult to filter which one is good

no way. once the coin is dead. that means it will never come back to life. No matter when you pump it. it will still die. so i will not invest and support
