There has been a lot of talk about crypto addictions and depression, sometimes resulting in suicide. Do you think it would be a good idea to create a forum for such kind of help or advice, where people can voice their fears or just be heard and supported.

That's good ideas but for right now we have the forum of digital currencies and the people can tell their feeling on here about the result of investment in digital coins, on bitcointalk we can share about our experience, suggesting of investment, tips and tricks to be sucessfull in digital coins, this forum is enough for us to tell our voice of fears and the other users will helps for the solutions.

It is both! During the bull run which is just starting now as it happens, there is a serious addiction where everyone is checking their blockfolio every 5 minutes! On the other hand, a few weeks ago when everything was continuously red it was depression and suicide time. This game is not for the temperamental types

There is some rules to know, no need to risk, if u are a trader u have to be ready to lose everything, u need to know how to survive, then u will thrive, and u have to know, u can’t control the market, the only thing you can control is your entries, trade size, and exits.

And why should a man in general take part in this if he is mentally unstable. Here there is no permanence, here everything changes dynamically and people with depression and panic should get out of it.

Problem is not related with bull or bear market issue. The thing I mean crypto trading is such kind a virus which forces traders to check coin values may be 20 times in a day.
This seems also as addiction and in case of big losses depression starts in most of the time it happens after a bear market

Support groups are required in every aspect of life because despite all the strength and knowledge, it becomes difficult sometimes to deal with a given situation, and can make a difference between sanity and death.

I already had been diagnosed with clinical depression for 3 and a half years before I started Cryptocurrency. To be honest I think my Crypto addiction has made me feel better since it's given some purpose back into my life.

We will drown in the sea of tears in this place Cry Cry Cry I'm sorry,  but I don't understand such things.  In my world the rule "no gain,  no pain"  is a major one.  It is simple: if you cannot handle it,  then stay away from it. I personally cannot stand blood,  wounds and so on.  I cannot be a doctor. Ever. All the same thing happens in crypto : if you cannot wait,  consider risks and put up with losses,  you won't be a trader or investor.  Ever.

It is necessary to make smart decisions in this market. A small mistake can cause great loss. We should not be addicted or depressed.

Very interesting and even helpful with reducing ones "pain of loss" would be a thread, where your biggest losses are listed.

Knowing there are people who had to handle even worse situations is always a little helpful Smiley

Unfortunately many people come to this market without any training just because of FOMO. They see only a growth, they don't want to know about corrections, they have no idea about market cycles and so on. This is the major reason for depression. But I think that this kind of forum is not necessary. At bitcointalk everybody can find whatever he needs, including the capability to complain about your problems and fears.

Crypto addictions and depression  many talk about this . It's turned into a hobby people who were full time traders and committed suicide. Inherent in trading are euphoric highs and hopeless lows. I can't recommend this lifestyle to people who are prone to depression.

If they can't handle their emotions well they will surely end up with the decision of doing the suicide and this one will be the sickest thing to do since their are s many ways to get back what we lost on crypto's but if they are depressive and emotionally weak person then crypto will not suit for them since this kind of earning things sometimes traitor and it can drain us badly if we are not careful on any cause.

Thats a good suggestion bro,but in my own thought cryptocurrency bussiness is separated  from the personal life of every bitcoiners. For me a person being depressed because of he loss his capital  because of wrong decision he made in his investment.we already know that doing a cryptocurrency bussiness is risk,so whatever happen to our investment  its our own fault and decision and not the fault of bitcoin.

Already Quora site is supporting to every clarification and it is easily understand the exact answer. But Bitcoin talk also best way to understand the proper answer in every thread. The only mistake is once understand the exact answer just lock that thread but many peoples are always open thread in forum. So we only ask the proper question in proper section it is definitely help for users.

Obviously a good idea, but in general i dont think it could help much creating a new forum for it, many of them wouldnt find it or write in it, maybe a better idea is to create a sub forum on here where the audience is already big enough.
