To the true decentralized technology community,

I am increasingly seeing Venture Capitals/ Financial institutions investing in significant ways into blockchain projects. What this does is puts VCs/ financial institutions at the center with some flexibility to influence and control. Isn't this fundamentally against the genesis of blockchain philosophy of a decentralized world where no single entity can influence the direction of the network?

I request from the developer community who truly embrace the core principles of blockchain and a decentralized world to completely boycott the projects/ networks which are bringing in institutional investment in blockchain world. It's no different than a few banks controlling the chaos of Mortgage meltdown to screw consumers. I feel these VC funded projects are dragging us down the same path.

Thoughts?
