Quote notifications. Please.

On most other forums I frequent, if someone quotes you, then you receive a notification. I think this should be a thing, because sometimes I find a really cool reply that someone made to a post of mine weeks after I made it - if I hadn't happened upon that thread, I never would've found it.

Please make this a thing. And please let there be an option to disable quote notifications on posts as well.

I have an arbitrary method to check for mentions.By using your name as a keyword in the search tool (and I personally organize it by most recent), you can view posts that have quoted yours and posts that mention your name.

However, the issue with my method is that there is only one result for a given thread. Thus if there were any earlier mentions (due to my sorting) I would not be able to view them immediately on the result page.

That's pretty good, but too long-winded. A dedicated quotes tab would do this forum a lot of good
