yes, old thread but website is still around. I had it bookmarked at some point and it all looks fishy but I can't find any recent activity but the website still claims tons of online cam girls. Can I move the link to me "dead projects" folder?

How old are you?
I'm a doctor, I like helping others, but I actually work in 6 different places over a 100 km area in a collapsing public health system, a lot of stress and responsability, for an inadeguate wage. I would immediately quit for a well paid stable work in the porn industry, i cold going on helping people for free when and if I want.

Bitcoin can be made near-perfectly anonymous but I doubt most people are going to have the know-how to accomplish that. Point is, people are lax about their security and can't really be trusted to conceal their identity. Just look at this forum for instance. Sockpuppets are being unmasked all the time often via taint analysis but sometimes it's been the case that people have reused the same address over and over multiple times. The anonymity/pseudoanonymity doesn't really factor into it IMHO and if the authorities were really determined to unmask someone's identity, they would be able to do so successfully in 99% of cases.

I can easily hook into coinbase or bitpay, but that would be the easy way of doing things and not the secure way. What if the government puts pressure on those entities to stop processing the model's payments? Operation chokepoint is exactly that. Guess what, the models and our community would lose in that situation, they would lose their funds and would probably never touch bitcoin again.
