No one can still conclude yet on when will bitcoin end since it has a volatile value and the series of dump does not indicate extinction based on bitcoin's history of volatility. Everything will come to an end someday but for bitcoin, I think it is so far from happening since it still has the highest value in the market and we all know that it is the most popular cryptocurrency.

I like to think of bitcoin to be a 3rd generation currency and the only time it is likely to be phased out is when it we have a new currency to displace the current digital currencies but since this is a new tech this is likely to be around for more than 5 decades, maybe a century who knows...
