I wish to buy two direct ASICMiner shares.  This is a reverse auction.  I will start @ 1.99BTC per each one.  Make offers in descending order and I will buy cheapest offer.  Unless seller is extremely highly rated seller will have to cover escrow fee with John K.  For highly trusted sellers I don't mind sending first.  Once a deal is reached here if friedcat takes too long seller agrees to transfer any dividends recieved while waiting for transfer to go through.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

A reverse auction is quite useless if there's no end time.

These "auctions" aren't really binding.  Anyone posting can include a time limit if they wish.  Also depending on price I may be looking to get more then two shares.

I guess there's no interest in this so I auction fails.  I can entertain PMs if anyone has shares to sell.

I am planning on sticking to my bids and bid further if anyone bid less than me. Can you add a time frame for this auction?

Even though your bid is after I called auction fail I don't want to look like a douche so why not let's keep it going a bit longer.  Let me add some clarifying rules then.  Auction ends 48 hours after next dividend.  Minimum bid increments at .05BTC and I doubt there will be some sort of bidding war but if it happens then all previous bidders are allowed one final bid after auction end.  All bids are non retractable and I can't cancel the auction which means I agree to purchase the two shares no matter where auction ends.  I know that's not really enforceable but since I can't retract my offer neither should others.  As stated before I might accept higher bids so bid away even if you aren't lowest bid.  Smiley  Transfer protocol will be either through friedcat or reputable escrow with seller covering escrow fees.  To directly respond to your bid lophie.  I am ok transferring through friedcat in the following way.  If you win you message friedcat that you are selling me the shares conditioned upon payment from my address to your address.  When he confirms that in the thread here I will send BTC and post the transaction.  Then friedcat can transfer.

Will if it ends after next divs I will gladly wait for friedcat transfer before receiving the payment from escrow. I could split the escrow fees as well.
