Bitfinex has announced that it will launch a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange built on the Eos.io platform. The new platform, Eosfinex, will be the first exchange to be hosted using Eos.io’s decentralized application infrastructure. details here...https://news.bitcoin.com/bitfinex-plans-launch-decentralized-exchange-eosfinex/
What is your opinion about the new decentralized exchanges?

Every attempt to make people aware of decentralized exchanges is a great step forward, but it comes as a surprise that Bitfinex is the one behind this. Good thing however is that if Bitfinex manages to succeed on the EOS platform, other parties will be able to do so too, and that's what makes it an interesting development. I seriously don't like Bitfinex, and will never like them due to how shady they have been acting prior to their "hack", during their "hack", and how they paid back people based on USD value instead of their actual lost coins. And then I haven't even said anything about Tether yet, which will likely get a major role on that decentralized exchange. In other words, great technological development, but a major bummer because it's coming from Bitfinex.

That's the way to go.Very soon governments and their regulators will he all nosy about what exchanges do as we can see already and that will limit the way exchanges can be used especially with regulations.decentralized exchanges will curtail this kind of government interference

This is HUGE, can't wait to see how this one improves and becomes the biggest decentralized exchange out there. They are working hard than other exchanges. They are definitely better than average exchanges. The price will skyrocket now.

It's really a good one. We don't need fiats to trade rather we can use EOS. However, the price of EOS will be increasing.

I'd take it. Decentralized exchanges are never a bad thing as long as they make it secure enough. Hopefully they'd pull it off though, with probably a similar UI/UX as Bitfinex, and not an exchange nightmare like EtherDelta(one of the worst UI/UX I've seen).

I don't trust bitfinex for shit.
They became rich just by printing more and more usdt and look what shit they have become, ruined their reputation. Eosfinex, even if it is decentralized, I'd have second thoughts on this just because bitfinex is behind this.
