I have paypal funds. I want to invest on btc and altcoins. my big problem is that some exchanger from usd to btc got high conversion compare to the current price of btc. does anyone knows where I can purchase btc at low conversion rate?

Paypal is reversible up to half a year later. That makes it very risky for the seller. I've seen Bitcoin offered on eBay by some sellers, at a very high exchange rate and strict conditions for the buyer. can you send as gift? This can still fail in different ways for either one of the parties. People have successfully traded Bitcoin for Paypal on this forum, but it will require a much more trusted account than "Newbie". |

You should stick to your thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2947191.0and wait for people selling their phished, cloned, stolen and hacked accounts. I'm sure PayPal will condone it so no worries about trading with those like-minded criminals cough cough I meant traders. |

Paypal and bitcoin don't get along...There is a reason why eBay sellers charge huge fees... even so they're not protected from schemers! Covert your paypal funds to perfect money, and I would sell you as much BTC as you desire  |

Buying bitcoin is made simple with more and more trading and exchange websites providing the service. Considering the reversible feature PayPal is not much preferred by bitcoin traders. I would suggest LBC where one could find few traders accepting PayPal, but it is truly on users self risk.

You can try : localbitcoins, localethereum and Virwox. You can also use Coinmama.com to buy with your credit card. However, you will not get low rates when looking to buy with Paypal due to the various payment gates and fees involved. |

You are right about Virwox, I don't know why they are always requiring for one to purchase an SLL coin before changng it to bitcoin. They would have just created a direct purchase, I guess its because of fraud management. Like you said, localbitcoin is still okay, the OP should try to meet face to face with any buyer of his interest from localbitcoin and do the transaction. That will easily prevent scam. |

Local bitcoin is pretty chill, i like it personally. You can also do trades/ exchanges here but its riskier in my eyes.

Take the money out of Paypal and buy bitcoins with cash directly from an exchange.
Paypal policy makes the transaction as reversible for 180 days, if no more on exclution.
Guy around willin to take you'r PP funds are problably loorking for members to scam.
Be aware, legit members don't accept big amounts of Paypal without ensurance.

1) Withdraw your PayPal funds on your credit card. 2) Buy Stealth (XST) with your credit card on www.stealthpay.com3) Sell XST for BTC on Bittrex or Cryptopia. |
