Hacked account - Sr Member with dark green trust

I have found this one. This account is used to post in favor of various scam ICOs ..

The original user created another account in october 2017 : therealwafdawg - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1212782
He mentionned the fact his old account was hacked in his first message on the new account : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1866936.msg23113574#msg23113574)

TookDK verified this user with a signed message from an older address posted by wafdawg : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721161.msg8170127#msg8170127

There is a 2 years break with no posts on wafdawg account, between June 2015 and June 2017. Before this break, the user was very active in the collectibles section.
After, he mostly posts in altcoins discussions.
He also left some positive feedback to dashingriddler in august 2017. (The only feedback he left after the 2 years break). (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=124502)
Dashingriddler was the user account used to post the ANN of the Centra scam.

That is my account which I never got back.  Is there anyway to get it back? Regarding the Centra feedback - at the time that was the truth, he sent me coins as a gesture and that's what I stated.  I was definitely naive and fell into some bad alt coin plays but my rep speaks for itself.

You should contact theymos or cyrus to help you recover your account. Just provide a signed message from your Bitcoin wallet address that you use on one of your post here in the forum.

In case that the hacker deleted all your post contain you BTC address. Use ninjastic.space to browse all your bitcointalk account post since it archives all the post including the deleted message. I'm surprised that your account is not yet recovered until now.

You can try the method that some other members have done.

If your account was hacked

Email recoveries_2021_xxlgg@bitcointalk.org, ideally from the account's email address. Include your username and a brief description of the details of how/when the account was hacked. A signature will likely be required (see below).

Unlike in the old times when recovering a hacked account was tedious and slow. There is now a team that is dedicated to recovering stolen account. You just have to follow instruction in this thread - Recovering hacked/lost accounts

Of course there is, theymos or admin will help you get your account back if you can actually prove ownership of the account by following all the required instructions. If you can sign message from a bitcoin address you've used before somewhere, you'll most likely get your account back. Some people have done it before, and I think you can too. Follow the prompts and send it via email, but you'll need to be patient as the admin may take some time to deal with your issue. Good luck.

Better for you to not bump this thread and create a new thread on Meta. even if this is regarding your account, in meta probably, the administrator will be monitoring you.
So why do you suddenly ask after 2 years? and just know this thread after?.

seems like his old account is very active in trading physical coins, and when the old customers have some claim in the past, it will be back to therealwafdawg for sure.

Forum have recovery team that is in charge of missing or hacked account, for the account to be recovered it has processes and it will be given by the team, Yes you are right for signing of message with the wallet it used before, it's evidence and it will be one of the condition the team will give the missing user account. Because some people have lost people have lost their account because not to sign message for their account. I checked this report, it's something that happened since 2018, by now the user supposed to sign message to the supporting team of account discovery and the account should be retrieved
