If you aren’t aware, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are in a war of sorts, both on the exchanges and on social media. That makes it a risky time for both assets.
Meanwhile, the chaos is spilling over into altcoins (making the top alts a little less predictable than normal).
Exactly what is happening is complicated and wrought with conspiracy theory and plot (you can read about it in this article, or in this article, or this article, or this article, or in this one; or this one… you should really read that one), but let me try to offer the gist of the war and the coordinated strategies and shadowy plots that surround it.

The only wars being waged are by the pretenders to Bitcoin, something I read somewhere and something I completely agree to. Bitcoin does not attack, it does not need to, because it just does its thing without needing to worry about anything around itself. Other alts are respectable and try also to do their own thing. The worst are those like Bitcoin Cash, deliberately attacking and trying to harm Bitcoin so it can be number one.

They never learn their lessons. Kill Bitcoin and you kill crypto. They just need to see how alts performed in January.

From the start Bitcoin Cash wanted to replace Bitcoin, and because of that i guess Bitcoin Cash is in war with Bitcoin not other way around. But Bitcoin has nothing to fear, because it outnumber Bitcoin Cash by a lot. when I think about it, I guess that war for number one crypto has always been there. That is race which will go on for as long as crypto exist. Every altcoin would like to become number one crypto, but that is hard.

Kill Bitcoin and you kill crypto. They just need to see how alts performed in January.

If Bitcoin dies for some reason that doesn't mean that everything would end because of it. If that happens some Altcoin will succeed Bitcoin and everything would continue on. It would be a blow for crypto would yes, but it would survive.

The people who are behind BCash were the ones who voted against SegWit2x in the first place. It was a coordinated attack on Bitcoin. There is nothing legitimate about BCash and if cryptos were regulated financial assets Roger Ver would be in jail (again).

Between the two, I would prefer Bitcoin Cash as the real Bitcoin than the first Bitcoin because Bitcoin Cash is more scalable and has faster transaction speed the Bitcoin.
I know there would be war and youth competition because some Crypto Whales are also pumping Bitcoin Cash these days, probably they want Bitcoin Cash to surpass Bitcoin or probably it's not only the battle of the two currencies but the battle of Crypto Whales.

I don't think investors and holders are affected with this Bitcoin and the first forks' battle Bitcoin Cash, it's not only the battle of the two coins but also the battle between Crypto Whales. And probably this time is the time to buy Bitcoin Cash and those people and investors who bought Bitcoin Cash last mega dip that which happened last first week of this month February that Bitcoin Cash was price valued as low as $800 and now it ramped as high as $1,600.

it was 1 btc for only 2 bch.
I think he has a very big amount of btc and many whales followers so they can pump and dump the price

Bitcoin had faced numerous issues like transaction speed scalability etc. That's why forks happened since October as Bitcoin Cash, November as Bitcoin Gold, December as Bitcoin DIamond and early January the Segwit2x.
Seems we can't feel their battle but we just felt that Bitcoin stayed on $10,000 or below for almost 3 months now and Bitcoin Cash continues to surge.
