I just recently bios modded my five rx570's and happy with the 142.9MH/s but is pulling 950 watts from wall? I noticed when i was tweaking the cards i could not lower the clock settings at all or it would lose 1.5Mh/s!!!! Did not matter if i lower clock to 1250 or 1100 or in between same result for ever card that are mismatched brands. I was able to undervolt and seemed to help alittle, but iam pulling way to many watts you think ?

250GB Sata HD
Evga 750 G2 gold PSU
Evga 600 Bronze PSU
Ver 006c risers
Cards:
X1 Sapphire Pulse 4Gb Elpida Hybrid 29.2 Mh's
X2 MSI Armor 4Gb Hynix hybrid 29.1 & 28.9 Mh's
X1 MSI Armor 8Gb Micron 27.8 Mh's
X1 Asus Strix Gaming 4Gb Hynix 28.7 Mh's
*All running stock clock core's 1268/1284/1300
*All undervolted 110 to 150
*All Memory OC to 2000 besides the micron likes 1900
*All Bios's Modded 1500 Straps copied to upper
I would like to get my MH/s the same but i need the watts down, any advice?

Use overdrive N Tool its the most stable. I have crashing modifying the voltage with Trixx or Afterburner.

My rig with 2xRX570 Red Devil and 4xRX550 pulls about 500W from the wall and hashes with about ~100 MH/s on ETH. Use OverdriveNtool after flashing the bios and use for the first try their limits an look then if it run stable.

That's odd. Lowering cclock to 1250 or 1200 shouldn't affect the hash rate so much. Even 1100 shouldn't be that big of a deal.
Are your cards getting "stuck" at a lower clock without you realizing it? In other words, they never actually get up to full stock clock. That happens sometimes with undervolting.

I had this problem recently, turns out the Card drivers got updated automatically to version 17.7 or 18.1 or something like that.
I recommend uninstalling your drivers and downloading and installing the Blockchain Beta driver and chucking it down 900mV in script.
I was stuck at 140W/GPU now i'm 89W/GPU.

Great stuff here! I will give this a shot when i get back to my rig and update! I plan to switch to OverdriveNtool, and create a start bat file like in mining guide, so if the rig restart/s the cards get clocked right and miner restarts itself, But need to get this figured out first with the wattage issue. |

How do i disable driver updates? is this a AMD setting ? Iam using 17.1 driver and it did not update itself, but i did notice before i adjusted any underclock or volt, that the core clock was not even hitting the stock setting in GPU-Z , Now once i undervolted the core clock went up to stock range in gpu-z and then if i lower the clock, it will lower the hashrate by 1.5 MH/s Does this sound like i just need to DDU and reinstall blockchain drivers ? |

In the Windows 10 Pro Group Policy Editor you can keep Windows Update from updating the the drivers. Also in AMD settings make sure automatic updates aren't enabled. gpedit ==> Computer Configuration ==> Administrative Templates ==> Windows Components ==> Windows Update and set 'Do not include drivers with Windows Update' to enabled. To get the blockchain driver back, uninstall the drivers with DDU in safe mode and click the setting to disable the Windows automatic driver installation.
