I've found some good condos for as much as a bit over 4BTC
I'm going to be in Pula for 3.5 years more at least, and I feel bad for throwing away money for rent when I could be paying off my own place.
+ the town is a tourist hotspot, so it can earn quite some sums over the summer.

I can't get a loan from the bank, since I'm a student and here apparently it's illegal for students to work full term (only student contracts).

It's a LONG TERM loan.

I have the BTC to buy it myself, but I don't wish to sell my BTC, so I'd like the loan to be USD denominated.
I can escrow ~5BTC in a 2/3 lockbox with trusted escrows from the forum.
Also willing to sign a contract and get it notorized with the lender to oblige myself to return the funds (might even pay the ticket for you to travel here so we sign it).

We are going to establish other contacts so I can keep repaying the loan regulary via other payment networks if in some scenario something happens to bitcointalk or BTC itself in that time frame.

I've been escrowing ~43BTC worth of XMR for the Gringotts depository in Crypto Kingdom for around half a year holding and doing payouts regulary to people who request them, so I hope you're going to consider me trustworthy with that sum.

I know it's a longshot, but if it doesn't work I think I'm going to create a Morgage Token to raise the funds  Cheesy
However, I'd preferr to get the loan like this since then I can have a fixed monthly payment, since with multiple participants I'd have to be paying someone out completely etc. and allow people to go in/out (ques etc.) I'd have to start with a large interest % and scaling down later on.
Complicated.

Anyways.

I'd need 280 000 HRK (~47k $), I was thinking of 0.4% interest/month so I'd payout a total of 381 000 HRK (we can denominate it in USD)
That would amount to 260$/month of initial repayment + 100$ of interest each month for 15 years.
Or we can do something like this
http://prntscr.com/igk36t
The first option is better for me though

I'd also like to be able to pay more than we agreed upon before, so I can close the loan prior to its actual end.

Hit me up if interested.

Since it's a tourist hotspot, I'd allow you to come and stay over the summer at the place since during that time I'm going home  Smiley

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I'd need 280 000 HRK (~47k $), I was thinking of 0.4% interest/month

That is a fairly low rate for the crypto economy.

The FRR on bitfinex is currently 0.038% per day, and lenders keep 85% of this, so 0.0323% after fees, which is ~0.969% per month. This is for loans with a maximum 30 day term.

Also, the 15 year term is risky for lenders considering the fact that the collateral securing the loan may or may not be worth anything in 15 years.

I said it’s a longshot Cheesy

There’s always a risk of the website running away and scamming you.
I am escrowing the value of the loan, if it goes below it, there is considerably big trust behind me to trust me to repay you anyways, since I’ve been holding half a million $ in XMR + 50k at times in DNR for other people without scamming and this is an amount 10 times smaller than that.

Yea, but youre also not holding their coins for 15 years lol. Lenders here usually want a quick ROI. Some might be able to do something like a year or two max, but over 15 years, for all we know by that time cryptocurrency could either skyrocketed, or be 0 by that time. Maybe change the years to something like 5 (or less) and some lenders might take that risk.

Good luck!

There's a user called goose20 who is flatly refusing to repay a loan because BitCoin went up and he can't afford to buy the agreed amount of BitCoin to repay the loan.

So far you have talked about Kuna, Dollars and BitCoins.  May I make a suggestion that you pick one (ie US Dollars) with a BitCoin equivalent and exchange into your local currency?  You would also have to be very clear which one you are paying back, and, given BitCoin is again on the rise, add a sunset clause that locks in an agreed value ratio for dollar/Kuna to BitCoin possibly with an early payout if BitCoin went gangbusters.

Good luck, Pula looks to be a very nice location.

I would have gone with any the lender picks (except for BTC)
I have already gotten an offer for this

However, I have recently decided it would probably be a better idea to make a mining farm instead of locking my funds in an escrow for 15 years, so I won't be able to escrow the funds for this loan.
Therefore this offer isn't on the table anymore.

Am sorry to hear the apartment fell through.

Might pay to lock the thread.

The BTC mining farm deal fell through.

So I'm bumping this thread.

Willing to escrow ~7BTC for a 38 000€ loan.

I can now escrow some 8.5BTC and I could repay the loan in 10 years instead of 15.

Maybe you should look into MakerDAO / DAI tokens

They are a stablecoin and allow you to take out loans using ETH as collateral. I'm not sure what sort of loan periods they would be able to offer but it might be worth your while looking into it.
