We cant say yet,bitcoin is still unpredictable and volatility we should not rely or depends on the graphs.Although predictions not 100% accurate but imo there is a possible that it will rise his value in the near future,but im not sure if how much will it get,maybe its more than 20k. |

well, this year started on a wrong foot for bitcoin with lots of uncertainty and wavering prices that led to panic and uncertainty. but as we have seen, BTC ia back and it will only sore higher. the graph represents a strong case that that i concur with, if the growth stays steady, no matter how slow the pace is, BTC shall hit $20000 and maybe pass it.

Bitcoin price easily up and drop so its possible to rise more than 20,000 dollars but we cannot predict when it will break the record. A lot of prediction right what will be the price of bitcoin but even I never believed that prediction because better to believe and trust your self. If you have faith to bitcoin and you believed price will rise hodl it and if you think price will drop sell it.

For all the years or long run bitcoin took, we are all aware how turbulent it is. Its vulnerability made almost other people vulnerable. Though it is a good thing seeing that it rises well than its fall. In the case of seeing it in a 5-digit number will not be impossible. We just don't know when. |

We do not really know how high can Bitcoin go. All we are hoping is the fact that the prices of Bitcoin and other Alternate Coins stabilize. If people starts supporting Bitcoin and promotes it properly in a way it becomes useful for users.

It is not impossible that bitcoin exceed the maximum price of $20,000 this year 2018, if we look forward the total outcome of bitcoin today in the market it is more on growing of business institutions who accept and adapt bitcoin. And that certain outcome can help develop price increase. Hopefully that bitcoin management can survive despite of many negative issues and hopefully price will not be affected even there are some bad issues about bitcoin.

I certainly hope not but I think it is very possible.. As a trader I like the up and down phases of bitcoin while still going through my accumulation phases and will welcome bitcoin staying below 20k as long as possible.. but I think unfortunately we go much further past 20k by the end of this year and maybe as high as 30-40k... the supply is just too small.. we'll soon be referring to 1/10ths or 1/1000ths of bitcoin or just straight up sats as a portfolio measure.. bitcoin was never intended for people to own 1000s once mass adoption or even interest started, and the price I think will be the catalyst to start the nature of it spreading around and getting some of these ridiculous sized stacks smaller by offering so much money, people can't refuse but to let some go. I still think Bitcoin's biggest use case is intermediary between cash and alt exchanges, and that alone can really drive up the price with such limited supply...just think about this a moment.. you have a global commodity where 1000s of different companies are letting you buy into their ideas globally and borderless.. how cool is that?!!?.. I saw an article just the other day where if every millionaire wanted to have a bitcoin, there wouldnt even be enough even then for that to even happen because of its scarcity... something to think about. |

Imo we have passed the storm that hit its peak around 6 Feb. I think that indications look like a return to $12000 is on the cards short term. Further bullish momentum from there might need to wait until some goods news. If you think about where bitcoin was before the news from Korea and China and that, $14000 would be the post-hype high. A return to that seems entirely possible but the term on it might be months. Then again we are in crypto-land.
I dont think we will see the same parabolic movement that we saw towards the end of 2017. This was the perfect storm of no bad news, big investor money and a hell of a lot of FOMO and wild speculation that saw bitcoin becoming overbought by usual analysis measures. That kind of growth is impossible to sustain due to an increased presence of regulatory oversight and any sign of bad news having an immediate and over-reactive effect. Sure there is always the possibility that if BTC starts hitting mainstream media in a way that generates FOMO again there might be another crazy move, but I think it will take some time for people to forget, allowing them to have that FOMO without any 'oh but last time' thoughts.
That said, I fancy BTC for 20K+ in 2018. All about that blind faith.

Base on what I read, yes it's possible to reach 20k but please take note that btc price is very volatile so set your target price wisely and only invest what you can lose.

But impossible to tell from right now. Given the right circumstances, so if no more negative press coverage about bitcoin, everything that comes out of the media is positive, and there are some major players in a range of industries that start supporting bitcoin this year, then an all time high is for sure. However, as I've said before, I do think that markets aren't as bullish this year as last year, and we're probably reaching a peak for this cycle. More likely to get a big pump when the next halving cycle comes around. |

many people are still questioning the prediction, of course this is a hot potato! with this fluctuating bitcoin price not easy to predict, a little bird told me about this. according to them this year there will still be a slight decline but they say that the potential of bitcoin is now more to increase its price. if crashes happen at any time maybe situation like yesterday happened again. but, if crashes do not happen bitcoin prices will continue to rise, it will even exceed the price of $ 20,000. I think the bitcoin price for now will slowly continue to rise and will be stable at $ 15,000. we'll see what will happen later and what is important is that I always believe that the bitcoin performance will continue well until the next.  |

Honestly, I do not know what the OP needs, and if that is hope, then he should just know that there is a possibility, bitcoin has a lot of good things going on and no one can definitely say what can happen, but for now, we can only wait. There is no soothsayer here and we can only deal with whatever the chart gives us. Is there a possibility? Yes. However, the same way we have a possibility of going back to the previous top is the same way we can have a possibility of testing the previous bottom so many times. |

May I asked the question why are people here are obsessed with $20,000? I really don't understand that kind of mindset to be honest. Personally, I know that it can be hit anytime, and eventually we all gonna headed on that direction. What I don't understand is that is that people keeps asking when. Of course, no one can really predict how the price will move. The best thing to do is to invest right now and then waited it out. And also bearish about bitcoin, but I don't mind when we are going to touch $20,000, I would love to see that day, but we all need to be accept that fact that it will take sometime before we can cross or even surpass it this year. |

I agree. In terms of speculation, many people rely on graphs, but the fact of the matter is that all of these coins and their markets are so volatile. It's tough to put the actions of the markets into graphs to predict the future, and I think this was very well shown when the huge drop came into play. Many people were saying that bitcoin was going to go down, but just as many were proposing that it would continue an upward trend, all without much evidence. I think it's possible that the lightning network could spread some good news around about bitcoin. There could also be more places that allow people to use bitcoin in place of actual money. The United States' Arizona has a lot of proponents for paying for taxes using bitcoin. That could help out too. |

IMO experts also can not guess correctly the prediction problem, why? yes, because the bitcoin numbers are always fluctuating, up and down every minute this becomes its obstacle. quite difficult to guess this, my hopes for this year hopefully the figure can break through $ 22k despite its slowly rising

It's worth pointing out that while we are still in the upwards channel from Jan 2017 (if you use a log chart), we are simultaneously still in the downwards channel from December 2017. Until we break past the $14,000 level, we can't really say we are back in a bull run.
