I believe "mining" qualifies as "nothing." Since those who are not trading are simply doing nothing with their coins as they continue to mine. So yes.

More like buy bunch of ATI graphic cards and play a Farm Ville style game, a little bit connection to the real world, but not yet very convincing, since I do not even have a U.S. bank account!

I know, right? The fun just never stops. Except the difficulty rises each time you buy the next card, so the BTC per day never goes up, your electricity bill goes up, and you end up with a bunch of stylin-ass gaming rigs!
