Really proud of the transparency APR core team shows the community.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

No block source available...

Still problem with the wallet persists, using Linux. I downloaded the peers.dat from GitHub, however, the sync does not start.
Also, this is the aprcoin.conf file:

addnode=64.154.38.181:3133

I have actually yet to hear of anyone the last couple months being unable to sync... So, is it possible you have something on your computer preventing the connection?  Antivirus, VPN, Firewall?

No, however I am checking the debug.log and get this:
Code:
2018-06-23 21:02:06 connect() to [2001:0:9d38:90d7:1c64:cbd:f280:68fc]:3133 failed: Network is unreachable (101)
2018-06-23 21:02:07 connect() to [2001:0:5ef5:79fb:1030:3d01:dc49:99ca]:3133 failed: Network is unreachable (101)
2018-06-23 21:02:07 connect() to [2001:0:4137:9e76:38d2:3f5c:53e0:d6c1]:3133 failed: Network is unreachable (101)
2018-06-23 21:02:08 connect() to [2001:0:9d38:953c:3859:3743:c9b9:c21c]:3133 failed: Network is unreachable (101)
...
There are no IPv4 addresses on the log, and the time is wrong. What could it be? (other wallets work without problems)

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:

APR Coin will have a 100% P2P Decentralized Exchange (DEX) launching in Q4 2018!

The DEX will be available in both web and desktop application forms. All coins and listings on the platform will be paired with APR, while all fees and listing fees will be paid in APR as well. To further the sense of community surrounding the coin,  and its use as a currency, funds and trades on the DEX will be controlled by users of the platform themselves and not some centralized team, corporation or institution. This is, by definition, what a decentralized exchange is meant to be.

It is a very proud moment for APR as a currency, as it was a member of the APR community who brought a detailed proposal for this use case to the core team. Someone among us all put in the work to have a full fledged proposal created and the core team, upon further review, put their full efforts and support behind it becoming a reality.

This is the first 100% community influenced use case implementation, and the core team could not be more enthusiastic at the progress of its development. More details regarding the platform will follow as progress is made, as we near the launch date of Q4 2018.

Devs never fail to amaze us. It's a very good time to buy more and keep accumulating and keep staking. Very excited for the future of APR. I know there will be more things to come. Keep up the good work devs.

I'm trying to understand this coin but I'm getting contraddictionary inputs: it seem very serious stuff, but just a few pages of thread in several months is suggesting almost no community behind... I'm a bit puzzled.

Hi Rocco Siffredi,

The BTCTalk thread is not the primary point of conversation for the project. Discord has over 5,700 members, there are thousands of followers on all of the social media platforms as well. The lack of abundance of messages on this platform is not a true indicator of how large the community is, or how many people passionately support the open source currency that is APR.

Please feel free to join Discord to speak directly with members of the community: https://discord.gg/JST5A9T

Regards,

APR Team

I love how this DEX idea can further promote the APR Loyalty platform, both of them working symbiotically.

The thought of producing ERC20 tokens for all of the APR Loyalty platform businesses is genius!  This way, they can all be exchanged for one another on the DEX!  Perfect!

Be patient.  The average right now is about 500 coins for a stake in 24 hours, but this might mean you wait two days and then get a couple stakes.

Feeling confident that the people who were going to sell, due to halving rewards have already sold, and now after the halving, price is only going up.
