It;s not more reliable per-se but they are better than the bounties posed as airdrops which we keep seeing. All these "sign up to fifty twitter account" airdrops are more than likely scams trying to get your information and grow their social accounts.

The self claiming airdrops at least leave you to be the master of your own airdrop and infer a bit of technical knowledge from the developer.

99% of airdrops are now just scam or a waste of time. Most tokens were tradable for nuts only on Etherdelta, but now they are no longer listing new tokens. IMHO they are totally a waste of time.

Yap I receive so many shitcoins that don't have value, That's good for Etherdelta not listing new coins to filter those greedy dev for making another shitcoins.

Yap, I do bounties too here, You will be rewarded with more legit coins than those airdrop coins, Your Just wasting your effort on 99% of those airdrop coins,

Self claim airdrop : You send ETH to smartcontract and Token automatic tranfer to your wallet!
This is a great way of airdrop!

Self claim airdrop is ok depends on the the token projects...same as filling the form there's so many right now and its up to you to choose wisely..

if you want to get instant airdrop , well self claim airdrop is what your looking for but it needs small amount of eth in your balance for the gas.There are self claim airdrop that only 0eth is the set amount so send and 1 gwie, thats about $0.04 maybe.  

Only few  valuable airdrops are around, and it depends on the terms of the company of  the distribution date, usually after their ICO or months after their ICO.
