Day trading is high-risk activity in cryptocurrencies. I remember 2 days ago someone share his portofolio about his trading started from January 2017 and last for December 2017. And he got 361x profits on (XRP if i didnt mistake) which means if you buy it 100$ than you get a total 36.100$

Not really stressful if you have a strategy. If you are sitting and watching the market move up and down then it will be stressful for you. Choose a strategy and stick with it and then you will find it less stressful

Day trading is filled with lots of stress, price fluctuation this day is quite unpredictable, with an understanding of project roadmap and news relating to the project can be of grest positive impact. When price stabilize better day trading will become less stressful.

'Trading' was a lot easier when it just a matter of holding anything. Last December was absurd. Even the most useless coins could make you a ton of money. Now they have been vaporized.

I don't think we'll see opportunities like Dash and NEO again.

Yeah, I've been there, Its pretty insane.
Having to watch the markets all day, especially if you have a day job, is exhausting.

I have had some success, and what I can tell you is this: it is only worth it when the entire market is in a bull run.

What has worked for me is to do small trades and profits, a quick buy and sell.
You choose a high volume coin, look at the 24 highs and lows, see the percentage increase and where it is at now.
If the coin is close to the 24 hour high with a 20% or larger price increase, then I have found that it has already reached it's "peak" for now.
Instead, a slimmer margin between the highs and lows with a 3 to 8% increase usually make for easy quick sells.

But, here's the thing, in order to make large profit off of this you need to do a ton of trades and that is only possible during a bull run.
Last december, I was making 10 to 15 trades a day and racking in around 700 to 1000 dollars a day.
It was easy cause the market was so hot.

Now, I'd be lucky if I made a couple bucks haha.

Thats the point, short term crypto trading means more frequent watching the chart than longer term of trading, it's like you're forced to do something repeatedly for the sake of your money.
It's indeed stressfull and I'm my self consider this as risk high, low profit, option. I'd never do this short term trading mainly because it's kinda useless.

However if short term trading is easy, everyone would be rich, so that's why.

I think in cryptocurrencies trading better to catch big movements. I even can't imagine how to predict it within one day, I am not good in TA and rely more on fundamental and deep researching of projects.
