Can i mine random coins, with those usb miners that is selling on ebay??
its says SHA256  scryt on them, will that say i can mine all SHA256 coins, or just btc??

sha256 and scrypt are two different algorithms , so you can do sha256 coins if ts for that or scrypt coins if its for that .

your be better off getting a nvidia gpu it can do all coins part from token coins and you would get more coins ,

and for bitcoin you would need shed loads of asic miners to be able to get one btc but the electric cost would kill you , better off going for gpu mining on a new type card.

or spend 550 quid on an fpga miner card on ebay they work well.

i have some 2080rtx and some 1080ti, but if its possible to get that hash rate from the usb, it could be profitable to mine some shitcoins with them, or am i totaly wrong?

I would not advise you to buy such miners. They are no longer relevant. Income from this miner will be less than $ 1 per month. I think it makes no sense to use such miners now.

If you have some extra money and have a computer at work to leave it on all the time you can try and experiment with a few of those devices, right now they are worthless and are good for experimenting only.

you should at least put a link to what you are referring to from ebay... if it is hardware you are buying and you will be using it on your computer then i vaguely would say you can possibly mine whatever algo the usbminer  allows.
 basic rule of thumb... buy from ebay and pay the price and lose your cash.... but on the rare chance you get lucky and actually get hardware shipped to your home or where ever... it is up to you to configure the miner and hope it really works...

An USB ASIC miner is for a certain algorithm, not coin. If there are more coins on tat algo, you can mine them.
SHA256 is an algorithm, Bitcoin has it, some other coins too (probably Bcash and others).
Scrypt is the algorithm of Litecoin, Dogecoin and others.
As you can see, SHA256 and Scrypt are different things.

However, with such a stick you will not mine Ethereum, nor Monero, for example.


There's also something else to take into account. The network difficulty.
For example, for Bitcoin, such an USB stick may give tiny profit or (most probably) may make you lose money when running it. Such a stick needs a device (computer?) to run it so you may spend quite some money on electricity. It may be cheaper if you buy coins directly for that amount of money.

I advise you read threads like the GekkoScience's one and compare the capabilities of those with what you see on ebay.
You'll see trusted people posting stats with 0 USD/day. And probably what you'll find on ebay is older and slower.
