If one creates an altcoin today, what are the 3 most important factors that would make it valuable? Or 3 activities that would do so?
The community trumps everything. Look at Doge - it was created as a joke, it was designed to be the opposite of Bitcoin. So it had very high inflation initially, it had infinite coins, it was designed to be mined on laptops, each coin was meant to be worth only a few satoshi, and so on. But it's still there, it is still used, it has good merchant adoption, thanks to it's crazy community. Agreed, it's only logical. A good project cannot succeed without community but a bad project can succeed if it has a good community. They're the people who will buy the coin and promote it. 1. Community 2. Product 3. Team all coins are able to become valuable coins. to be a valuable coin should have such an increased development and make the profits generated large enough. so that with the development of an increased coin can make a valuable coin. so for Altcoins who want Altcoin so increase through the development of Altcoin that continues to increase. |

I think that makes altcoin very valuable is the belief of society. As good as any technology brought altcoin if not trusted by the public then the altcoin is meaningless. This belief is very important to make a successful altcoin and gain a place in society. To achieve public trust, this strategy is required promotion and marketing of an altcoin with a planned. Without a planned strategy in altcoin creation then altcoin will not be meaningful in the eyes of the public. Therefore, if we love an altcoin then we can support our beloved altcoin by promoting it to a wider society.

I agree, the altcoin makes valuable is about the adoption of altcoin the society the promotion of the team to the public and the support of the public to the altcoin that's what makes altcoin become successful,meaningful and valuable. |

But it's still there, it is still used, it has good merchant adoption, thanks to it's crazy community. How does one create that community? Facebook pages, Telegram? PR? probably because Altcoin's value is so high that the value of altcoin becomes valuable and so it is already a lot of people who invest in Altcoin because it has good growth and lots of promising and good altcoin for the future hence now many people are holding their altcoin for getting profit when the altcoin price stabilizes |

The importance of any cryptocurrency comes from its usages, and the markets which accept it. We can watch now hundreds of cryptocurrencies, but I don't see any importance in most of them, they have been created just for trading, while there are about ten coins only can be used for useful things .

For a coin to gain value, it needs to solve an existing problem. Most want to, at some point, use it as money, and maybe extend the ability to build smart contracts on top of this.Money needs to server three purposes:
1. Store of value
2.Medium of exchange
3.Unit of account
Every cryptocoin I have come across fails miserably at all these three.

I think that the most important thing it is support of the people. If a lot of people believes in some coin it has value. The same thing is with fiat money but there is state influence towards people.

Then again it is the technology that comes first. Imagine Bitcoin had some serious security flaws, people would lose trust instantly. Since it has no security flaws trust can be built over time. |

Well the reason altcoins are valuable is because their team is very strong and the performance of these coins are proportional to the hard work of their respective teams. Coins like TAU, NEO and POWR are excellent coins. |

Also without proper exchanges nobody will buy altcoin,because people want to buy on liquid exchanges
