Sootha, did you have any thoughts on filtering the difficulty to not bring in PoS info or any idea how to handle that?

First, thanks for the work!
I have been playing with this and haven't been able to get it to work, however I do believe I've discovered the issue which I'm presuming you haven't run into or possibly haven't even considered (most people aren't security psyco like myself...but it's how I make a living).
So I'm running the enterprise edition and have SSL enabled using a wildcard cert. Apparently the program is either reading directly from AM's API settings (which shows HTTP, not HTTPS) or it's presuming http. Either way that's causing issues as it's required to try to connect via HTTPS in order to work, and for the SSL cert to be valid it needs to connect via the public name or simply ignore that info (probably easiest) and just accept and move on.
P.S. going to bring up the API https thing to AM as well.
Yeah http://localhost is just hardcoded currently - so you're saying you need the plugin to post via https? Hmm I don't know the implications of that.. EDIT: https isn't available in premium so I have no way to test Correct, I need it to post via https. I can work with you if you'd like to test it - like I said, I'm sure most aren't the same kind of nut bag I am, so it's not as of yet super common. Figured I'd check back in on this to see if you've had any chance to look at, or if there is anything I can do to help? Thanks!

There are quite a few explorers I've found which show the data like this in the API:
{ "proof-of-work": 917.04547027, "proof-of-stake": 0.00054931, "search-interval": 1 }
These don't seem to work with the Updater. Is there any way to get these to work?
Thanks for the great tool by the way! I love it.

Alright, this is going to be a total noob question. I'd like to add several Cryptonight coins to awesome miner. I know several of them are on crex24, so I'll try to follow some other ones listed to see if I can figure out how to point to those ones, but the first coin I'm trying to add is Stellite (XTL) which appears to be using explorer, or at least the format matches some of the others already in the config file. How do I go about finding the summary page? Would somebody mind showing me what this one would look like added or if it can be? https://explorer.stellite.cashThanks in advance!

Found it! https://explorer.stellite.cash/api/networkinfoTried using the following config but it would appear I may be unlucky in that their explorer isn't supported. { CoinFullName: "Stellite", CoinShortName: "XTL", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 16710.5, BlockTime: 60, BlockExplorer: " https://explorer.stellite.cash/api/networkinfo"} It is listed on coinmarketcap as of today, not sure if I can do anything with it from that angle? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stellite/

Is there any way you can add support for the following? { CoinFullName: "Haven", CoinShortName: "XHV", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 32.4862 , BlockTime: 120, BlockExplorer: " https://explorer.havenprotocol.com/api/networkinfo"} I believe the following 2 use the same software but if not if you could add those as well I'd appreciate it greatly. If I can only get one though I'd love to get Haven added! { CoinFullName: "Graft", CoinShortName: "GRFT", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 1718.7348, BlockTime: 120, BlockExplorer: " https://blockexplorer.graft.network/api/networkinfo"} { CoinFullName: "Stellite", CoinShortName: "XTL", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 17962.55, BlockTime: 60, BlockExplorer: " https://explorer.stellite.cash/api/networkinfo"} Much thanks, this plugin is huge for me. Would love to be able to capitalize on some of these cryptonight coins when they surge by building a profit profile with them.

I love your project, but I've a little problem with coin updater: When listed a coin in awesomeminer, checked a highest coin price to calculate AVG. It is good, but sometimes highest price come from "mini" exchange where no daily volume(ex.: 0.000003 BTC). I think we need a variable, where the minimum volume can be set.

Or, in the cases where the coin is on multiple exchanges, use the one with the highest volume.

Is there any way you can add support for the following? { CoinFullName: "Graft", CoinShortName: "GRFT", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 1718.7348, BlockTime: 120, BlockExplorer: " https://blockexplorer.graft.network/api/networkinfo"} I believe the following 2 use the same software but if not if you could add those as well I'd appreciate it greatly. If I can only get one though Graft is absolutely the choice. { CoinFullName: "Stellite", CoinShortName: "XTL", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 17962.55, BlockTime: 60, BlockExplorer: " https://explorer.stellite.cash/api/networkinfo"} { CoinFullName: "Haven", CoinShortName: "XHV", Algo: "CryptoNight", BlockReward: 32.4862 , BlockTime: 120, BlockExplorer: " https://explorer.havenprotocol.com/api/networkinfo"} Much thanks, this plugin is huge for me. Would love to be able to capitalize on some of these cryptonight coins when they surge by building a profit profile with them. Maybe using a "minerpool" method (if possible) in sites like https://cryptoisme.com

Maybe using a "minerpool" method (if possible) in sites like https://cryptoisme.comI do use that site & https://www.cryptunit.com to find which coin is the most valuable but I'm having to manually enter their difficulty into awesome miner whenever I mine them. I'd like for the coins values to auto update so that I can build a profit switching profile to do that for me. Several of them seem to use similar explorer's so I'm hoping getting graft & the other 2 I listed added will allow me to then add some of the others. But if not those are the 3 that I've been switching between the most lately so that would be a huge help alone.

Currently using Excel web query import hack...filter out all PoS rows @ https://spd.overemo.com/ then averaging the remaining blocks.....set the macro to run every 2 min or so...grab price from exchange api in similar fashion but with json import, parse the query to AM from excel to update the coin...worked for me for JoltGas (JLG)... I'm totally no good at programming and maths, so this is a rather lame way to implement but .... not bad for temporary patch work ;p **something like this Sub TestJLG() Dim objHTTP As Object Dim URL As String Dim Data As String Dim replyTXT Dim URLConcat As String Dim cellxIndex As Integer Dim cellTicker As Integer Dim cellName As Integer Dim cellAlgo As Integer Dim cellReward As Integer Dim cellDiff As Integer Dim cellBTC As Integer
cellTicker = 17 cellName = 20 cellAlgo = 8 cellReward = 11 cellDiff = 2 cellBTC = 5
cellxIndex = 1
URLConcat = "http://localhost:17790/api/coins/" & Cells(cellTicker, cellxIndex).Value & "?name=" & Cells(cellName, cellxIndex).Value & "&algorithm=" & Cells(cellAlgo, cellxIndex).Value & "&reward=" & Cells(cellReward, cellxIndex).Value & "&difficulty=" & Cells(cellDiff, cellxIndex).Value & "&btc=" & Cells(cellBTC, cellxIndex).Value
Set objHTTP = CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP") URL = URLConcat objHTTP.Open "POST", URL, False objHTTP.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" objHTTP.send ("")
cellxIndex = 2
URLConcat = "http://localhost:17790/api/coins/" & Cells(cellTicker, cellxIndex).Value & "?name=" & Cells(cellName, cellxIndex).Value & "&algorithm=" & Cells(cellAlgo, cellxIndex).Value & "&reward=" & Cells(cellReward, cellxIndex).Value & "&difficulty=" & Cells(cellDiff, cellxIndex).Value & "&btc=" & Cells(cellBTC, cellxIndex).Value
Set objHTTP = CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP") URL = URLConcat objHTTP.Open "POST", URL, False objHTTP.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" objHTTP.send ("")
Application.OnTime Now + TimeValue("00:00:30"), "TestJLG"
End Sub
currently trying to work out a way to cache the json locally so I don't get blocked from the api if the list of coins grows Any chance you'd mind sharing this spreadsheet with me? If it's not possible to add those explorers I'd be more than happy doing it this way too!

Hi there. I notice one thing that’s messing with the plugin. Lots of times I have the wrong coin price as it takes the higher exchange. I have a coin that is with double the Price in one exchange and this exchange don’t have volume at all. I see two options. 1- in the json we could enable or disable an exchange. 2- in the json we could attach one coin to an exchange.
For now I’m putting this crappy exchange on the hosts file.
