Hello guys, I have a problem, one of my antminers s9 only turns on the fans when plugged in, all lights are off, no network light, no hashboards lights, nothing. Could it be that my control board is damaged Huh? what could have caused this ?? thanks in advance!!

What power supply? What voltage? You say one of your S9s, can you swap a known good PSU over?

Hi, I think the Psu is working because the cooling fans powers on, but not the control board or the hashing boards,  tomorrow I'll try another psu to check but I don't think It will solve the problem. the s9 has been running for a month and half with no problems until now, i have 3 s9 and only this one stopped working. Thanks for your advice I'll check and let you know if it worked with the other Psu.

Was there any kind of event? Did it get hot, was there a storm or power outage, or did it just quit?

If you think it is hashing board just connect one hashing board by one and try will it work. Miner can normally work with just one or two boards connected. If you think it is controller try to connect these hashing boards to another controller. You said that you have more antminers so you have parts for testing. Same thing with psu.

Psu has some protections so in case of overvoltage or electricity spikes, it will fail to deliver 12v. However fans on psu will turn on even in protection mode but you wont have 12v on wires. Solution is unplug psu from power socket for aprox 20-30min untill it resets itself.

Hi, thank you all for your responses, I've tried the s9 with another PSU and the same thing happens, only the fans turn on, the control board and hashing boards are still off, so it's NOT THE PSU, I think it might be the Control Board. Please if anyone has a similar issue let me know.

Was there any kind of event? Did it get hot, was there a storm or power outage, or did it just quit?

I wasn't in the room when the s9 stopped working, there was no storm, its possible there was a power outage but i have a 30 amp power regulator, and my other two machines kept working fine, only this one presented this problem.

Any help is appreciated it,

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you lost the 3.3v buck converter on the control board that powers the control logic. Even with a dead cpu(ZYNQ) you should get at least one led, the power led(D15).
