New Bitcoin Code Will Finally Boast Full SegWit Support

Finally activated last August after months of controversy, SegWit is now spurring developers to put together a more structured, "themed" release for the software, an unusual development for the team behind the world's oldest and most valuable cryptocurrency network.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Finally! I am quite sure that this will give this ecosystem such a boost, that I expect the fees to fall down even further, and not just by a small margin. I hope that the main services in this market will start to shift as soon as possible, because the sooner that happens, the less clutter there will be left causing the fees to unnecessarily be higher than they should be. It's a much needed transition that will allow the network to handle more transaction traffic during peak moments, because what happened December of last year with the fees was beyond insane, and shouldn't happen again. I urge anyone to start transacting through their bench32 generated addresses as soon as possible after release. I will of course do so too.
