Must be the initial good capital. You will need large team to pull off an ICO. This is designers, PR, SMM,content specialists, community managers, programmers and others.

Actually, the ICO is only the last step of a big process, and you need a real good staff, a real competence, and an initial financing.

Starting an ICO is one thing. Getting it done is another. It's a complex yet simple process if you know what to do. There are many things to consider. One of which is whether your idea or project would gather crowd as a result of its usecase. Then you need a team. Most project fall out because the team lost interest at one point or the teams shared different idealogies from the team leader or themselves.

Too many things to highlight here. Good advisers are a necessity.
You would also need to structure your tokensale so that gas war isn't experience.

Just study and gather like minds and plan well. Choose a good mentor to guide you too. All the best.

If you want to launch genuine project, then work on the idea 1st whatever idea running in your mind. I mean research and make sure you can see some good future of your idea. If it's possible then it's good to make your product and test with community. If your project needs some base investment then try to find some seed investors. After completing the product, Hope during that period you already build up the good tech team. During this time period also make your team strong. Working product and strong team made good impact during the ICO. After all these things running ICO not that much big deal. Easily you can get team by offering the token. Obviously if you make product by own then token generation is not big deal for you.

Do you have any project?or you just want to have an ICO because of the money that you can get out from these foolish investors that doesnt do research before they are getting involved with these ICOs?if you dont have an existing projects i suggest start planning on how will you get a good developers and good product first,before you make money from an ICO because theres a lot of shit ICO projects today so you shouldnt be doing shit projects.

It seems to me that to start an ICO is a very ambitious goal!
Btw, it's important to understand that an ICO is something as an IPO, so it requires the existence - at least potential - of a profitable business.
So, before to think about ICO, best to think about the business...

This is indeed correct,you need to have a good developers for your project if you have any,because the developers will be the key for the ICO's faith if these developers doesnt have any good background from the past,the ICO investors will morelikely going to ignore your project.Seems like you are right the OP just wanted to have an ICO because of the money that he can get.
