Is possible that coin like THEKEY go to 3 digit number per coin? THEKEY has total supply 10.000.000.000.

Is better to pick coins with lower supply or market cap if you're searcing high price of coin like SHIFT, ATLANT, BREAD?

Almost every coin which has price above 50 $ has low market cap and suppy (NEO, Augur, Decred, Populous...)

What's your opinion?  Smiley

Market cap is a combination of price and supply and is the number one measure for valuing a coin. Based on that if you're looking for a coin to reach a high price it's more favourable for it to have a low supply.

Given your example, It's so unlikely that THEKEY will ever reach 3 digits, it would already then be at a 1 trillion market cap which exceeds the whole crypto industry right now.

Your main goal is to multiply your investment, why are you looking at the price then? There is no difference between having 1000 coins at $1 or 100 coins at $10. You are not buying a coin, you are buying a part of the supply. Price of 1 token or coin in comparison to other has no sense at all, you are comparing apples and oranges.

Coins with high supply are the most manipulated coins by whales. Why? Because its so easier to manipulate them. So speculative prices are always possible with them, we all see really bad coins doing 1000x in past.

How come it is easier to manipulate them? It's not like you need to poses one whole coin. You can split it up into like 8 or more decimal places, so what you are saying is definitely not true.
Only correct thing is, that a lower marketcap coin might get manipulated easily, because they are cheaper, so you can actually own a majority of them. As the market cap gets higher, this gets harder.

Overall, higher market cap means less extreme gains. But not always. We have all seen Etherium, that has been in like top 10 or top 5 gain crazy, almost x100 value in the last year.

Of course, in commercial business. In any field if the supply is less than demand, then it is certain that the price of that currency will be high. As in the digital currency market, some coins have lower supply than demand, the price of that altcoin will increase day by day. There are many factors that help you to analyze the good or bad altcoin. Wish you earn lots of coin in the crypto market.
