Using tether is fine, i using it alot as an aarbitrage pair. Just dont use it as main investment, i mean when you not holding bitcoin just turn it to another stable alt dont keep it in tether, i dont like tether just because the supply always increase every few month.

You should stay away kabayan!,tether is being backuped by USD,it means the banks could easily manipulate its price.Theres a lot of coins out there that you can invest to,you just need to do a lot of research because investing has a lot of things to consider like the product,development team,and roadmap so you wont be investing to these shitty coins.

USDT is not save for long term holding but it is ok if you're using for airbite or escaping crypto price correction.

Exactly what i think, what the point of holding something that wort same as USD though. If i just want to make some saving ill just save it at my bank account

I think you should hold it because it is very potential for the future. judging by the price containment is very good and to increase the price very quickly. this is very good for long term or short term investments.

Tether is a medium that paid, and subject to the big whales and governments that are willing to pay for it. For the global cryptocurrency market Tether have a pretty bad reputation after spreading a series of FUD to the community especially cryptocurrency users (which is still new). We should not keep it in Tether, because by storing it there, it's tantamount to supporting Tether.

Tether or usdt is really good currency for reinvesting into crypto after profit taking I really learn the lesson for not believing usdt . As far it’s a good option for profit taking . Even I dint trust this because of their shady business . But for crypto traders there is no much option to convert fiat equivalent.

If not, this is probably the most crazy thing I've heard, it's pegged to the price of the US dollar, it serves 1 purpose in my eyes, you suspect a coin drop, switch to Tether, buy back low.

Holding this coin long term is a complete waste of time.

There are a lot of coins out there other than USDT that has more potential. My trust on Tether falls down after the $31 million hack, and since then I don't trade Tether anymore.. I prefer you should stay away and find another coin that can make you more profit.

Yes because tether are fake those big people out there can make as much tether as they want just to control the market or the price of Bitcoin that's why Bittrex already implemented USD instead of USDT.

I dont recommend following all the created FUD and rumors about Tether,I think everything is ok and under control.Trading btc-usdt is fine but I dont keep a lot of money in tether,I prefer bitcoin and etherium.

It depends on your decision. If you are an adventurer, you should choose ETH and BTC. If you are safe and do not want to risk, you should invest BTC-USDT. I think Option 2 is good for everyone because the crypto market is a hard market. If your knowledge is not good then losing your property is a normal thing. So I recommend keeping your money and do not change it.

You may need to start using the real dollar pair. i remember about bittrex will try to replace all of the usdt pairs with real dollar pair in the future. But it seems you can still use usdt until we have a conclusion about the result of an audit by bitfinex team auditor to check the availability of reserve funds to backing tether as the stable token just like the dollar.

For me I still think, Tether is still the best fiat gateway for one not until those projects entering the stablecoin space proof they can delivered on thier promises, for now we now Tether has money in bank but what we are not sure is the amount they have in the bank. but most of these projects don't have any proof they have money to back their tokens

Use it but dont let it stay there. It is the same as the USD, it just went online. Anytime they can just stop it and who knows, they might not go to jail. Thanks to them a lot of money is wasted and crypto investing might go down for a little.

In my opinion - tether, like an unexploded shell. You never know when it will break (scam). Today they have dismissed their auditors, tomorrow they write all well, we can confirm their tethrs with real money. Then it may turn out that everyone can not.
