Recently, the Cryptopia exchange has become increasingly hard to connect to.  Anyone know what's going on?

When I attempt to view my account, it'll either show up as a balance of 0 (!) or simply time out.  Luckily after thousands of F5's I managed to withdraw what small funds I had; taking a hit from the withdraw fee sucks but it's better than losing it all in the event of a security breach, shutdown, etc.

Just wanted to spread the word in case anyone here hasn't been on the site in a while.

Move over to direct trading exchanges like www.100bit.co.in. 0.1% trading fee with no deposit to site wallet required. Direct trading exchanges are the future.

Hi OBAViJEST,

We had an network issue with the pool server this morning which created a bit of a performance impact on the Website, all has been resolved.

There is no security breach or shutdown, just was running a bit slow for a few hours Smiley

Thanks

Hi!  Very nice to see such a quick reply from the staff here.

I'll resume using your exchange, then!  Really like the site.  Also - I'll inform everyone that I've spoken with about the matter and correct myself  Grin

Take care, keep up the good work!

(I can also delete this if you want, just let me know you've seen this first)

My withdrawal has not arrived since 12/01/2018. Also, I can not find this transaction in Explorer.
TransactionId = 0x8386b7ea9b4314ea79778d26c60b31a66192dc6fccb1dfc198f6d747e8b9d0cc
This ID does not even exist in Explorer. Does anyone know what's going on? Or does anyone have problems with ETH on cryptopia?

It appears that the exchanges were not prepared to support the increase in the purchase and use of btc. They are practically all with some problem.

Withdrawals on Cryptopia are usually provided automaticly. So increase of tradings wouldn't effect the payments.

Instead of this site try out the binance exchange which is way much better and reputed worldwide. It is being offering currently 0.03% as a trading fees which I think is the lowest among all the exchanges worldwide. Also the registration is free and very easy.

There are exchanges with no fees for makers (like GDAX), or even a small rebate (like HitBTC, with -0.01%).

By the way, I think you can cut Binance's 0.03% to half if you configure it to pay the fees with BNB. Though, that 0.03% is a special discount after their extended downtime recently. Last I checked, they're set to return to the 0.10% baseline in a few days.

Yes Binance is a good exchange with lesser fee than others BUT, I hope you didn't forget that the question was posted way back May 2015  Wink.
I'm sure Victor Beckham already knew that.

These small exchanges people should watch out.

Cryptopia isn't a "small exchange".
Actually, you should be cautious in all exchanges, not just small ones.

Nowadays I heard a lot about problems in Cryptopia. People having issues while withdrawing. I hope they are not having any issue like Bitgrail.
