Hi, I have this power supply and no mobo modular cable. But I have PCIe cables so I can run miners with it once I get it going. All I see is: https://www.evga.com/articles/00755/images/univ/1k_Mod_Face_lrg.jpgCan anybody tell which pins in the photo above should be shorted to get it going? Thanks,

You would have to look at the 24 pin plug via internet, or find who makes the PSU for EVGA in order to figure that out.
The colors you're looking for to execute the run command on the PSU are green(sometime dark green, but smaller gauge wire) and any ground off the 24pin plug.

I think this guy was asking this question on bitcoin-otc the other day. If it's anything like my seasonic, the larger connector holds more common lines (12v, 5v, 3.3v, ground), and the smaller one holds the minor lines (5v standby, -12v, -5v PWR_OK, PS_ON#). My best bet is to connect a multimeter's probeto a known ground, and start sticking the other probe in the ATX 24 pin area on the power supply. You don't want to dead short random pins with a paper clip because if you dead short the standby 5v toa ground, you're power supply will go pop, magic smoke.

The easy way is to connetct the green and the black wire beside it. A paperclip does the trick.

Are you sure? Also connect it to next to left or right? Can you post a photo? (for double checking the correct place)

He doesn't have the modular cable, and the pins aren't color coded, and the connector on the power supply is nonstandard. The quoted post is useless. l2read OP

It is working!!! Glad to hear! Yeah, it was weird how the EVGA isn't a standard layout, but all is good once you know where to stick it! lol
