Vechain is starting a rebranding. Does ist happen on Binance automatically, or have we to transfer it to their wallet?

It's 'automatically' on exchanges. You don't need to transfer it to wallet.

Exceptions are decentralized exchanged like IDEX and EtherDelta where you should start trading on the new contract address.

Vechain's a corporate led project, they've been very heavily featuring themselves in several big conferences. The only thing putting me off about it (apart from the corporate feel and highly centralized leadership) is that their whole product and whitepaper are extremely convoluted. Seems like they have good ideas but can't seem to settle on one main agenda. I saw one or two talks also from their management, I have to say it wasn't very convincing, even if they seemed to get a lot of applause from the crowd.

I wasn't aware of a rebrand, as already stated it should occur automatically on any decent exchange.

Rebranding should have a good effect on the price. Good news.

Rebranding should have a good effect on the price. Good news.

Yes it does usually trigger a price rise, but not always as other news can overshadow the event - like the raiblocks nano rebrand that happened as the same time as the bitgrail incident, triggering a price fall. Not saying this will happen with vechain, just that it's always worth keeping an eye on other news as well, rather than the rebrand by itself.
