Please be aware that there is currently a scam tweet from Bitlfinex masquerading as Bitfinex!

The tweet is publicising a 10x ETH promotion. More details on the link below.

Man thanks for the warning. We should always vigilant because this scammers are getting better everyday. Always thinking new ways to trick people.  A 10x eth promotion is too good to be true but if you missed it the "L" in the Bitlfinex most likely you may trust it because of the bitfinex name.

Now we should also worry about "Blnance" replacing the "I" with "l".

People who are thinking that they can have free money are the ones who fall for this scam. There is too many scam in this world that you shouldn't believe anything you read or heard in just one glance. You should always be vigilant and red flags should always be raised when there are things like this. There is always a catch when someone is giving you something for free. In crypto world, we are used to airdrops but if it involves sending coins to get more then it would be another story.

Scammers exist because there are people who fall for it. Somehow, the ones who are scammed can be blamed as well because they are not vigilant enough to know that the account is fake. Thank you OP for the warning though.

The safest option is to save in the file Excel or Word, links to the necessary sites.

And copy them from there, or jump directly from the file.
Then the chance to get to the phishing site is zero.

Bitfinex is not a scam, it is one of the most popular Coin exchange in the market today.
If there are some issues that had been appearing on their watch then I presume that they are able to fix it because commercial or centralized coin exchanges have their own developers and security experts.
I really don't think Bitfinex will become a scam because they're been around 2 years now if I am not mistaken.

Indeed, maybe some of them were fell into scams or phishing sites and led them to accuse and point Bitfinex as such a scam coin exchange.
Well, that doesn't make sense because Bitfinex has been around for 2 years now and more investors and traders are making money on this coin exchange since the beginning.
