Hello Guys,

I have question - do you know about easy - mineable coins for ordinary deskop PC cor CPU mining ? (intel cores i5 / i7)

Low difficulty,easy find block,etc...

Example: Turtle coins (TRTL)

Thx
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

On a Ryzen 7 1700x I've done Aeon which was mining about 0.25/day and Raven(RVN) is about 20/day cpu mining currently

There is a thread that was started here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2683343.80 but has seemed to go off topic

Also worth watching if you have the time is newly released coins as the difficulty is generally low and they can be cpu mined for awhile easily. But also they could be a worthless coin. Personally I try to do several across my machines that are 6+ cores and see what they can mine in 24 hours to get an idea.

Depends what you mean.

Low difficulty and ease of mining doesn't mean higher profitability.

For example, Bytecoin is super easy to mine, but I would be hesitant to choose it over something more "difficult" like Monero.

For pure CPU mining I would look at cryptonote coins specifically.

I recommend you just to mine cryptonite coins like ETN  if you are just gonna use CPU for mining but I am not saying it is really profitable co'z you will compute your electricity usage and internet bill .  It's really good to use GPU instead of CPU for mining .

Its not always about how easy they are mined, its about how  profitable it could be after paying for tax and electricity bills. Ethereum could be good but it might yield little. You can try Monero (XMR), MemoryCoin (MMC), MonetaVerde (MCN) , or even Fantomcoin (FCN). Their yield per day is fair. You should also model your CPU +/- your GPU for easy estimation of your earns per day.

For PC or CPU only coin you can also try yenten or YTN. It's a new algorithm and new possibility in the future.

Do you all mean CPU mining in addition to GPU mining on the same rig, or CPU mining on a computer that is lacking a suitable GPU?

ETN is now good for mining, take in your mind please: consider profit of mining and not amount of mining in each coin.

if only using CPU (i5/i7) without GPUs, you only are taken a small profit, what anything a coin to be mining. I mean small profit is you take amount coin/payout, the price of the coin very cheap and compare with your device if a broken except if you're using server such 1U Xeon has 12 or 24 thread. (last 3 months, I tried mining using that's device and get 30 ETN/day)

The most profitable coin to mine for 2018 and the end of 2017 for me was and its still is IntenseCoin (ITNS)
Wokring on Cryptonote techonolgy and cryptonighe algorithm for me this was the most profitable coin ever.

I think the better is to mine ETN, I did it since Nov 2017.

You can check profitable here - https://whattomine.com/coins

Just check for GPU, but if you will look only for one algorithm (ex. cryptonight) you will see profitablity each coin. Today Sumo is most profitable than ETN, but last time that was onlu one - two days and again ETN was better.
The true is most profitacle is Nicehash, but you need to have very good PC to use it.

What do you mean by a cryptonote coin? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

He means coins that are based on cryptonite algo. Like Monero.
And on that, Mineros profitability will be much better in coming weeks when they release an update

I was mining ETN with my CPU and 6x AMD GPU from the beginning of November, since then diffuculty went high but even today it is worth of considering to mine few hundreds and hold as expectations from ETN are quite hight...

Usually I am mining ETH and ETC, from time to time I switch to some new and "exotic" coin as today to AURA (ARA) and Bitcoin Latina, but it is risky as well, these projects aren´t even listed on exchanges...
