I've asked in a few different locations in the forum and can't get any help.

I have a new mac mini with 4 Anker 9+1 USB hubs. One connected to each USB hub in the back of the mini. I can't get more then 15 ASICminers working. I've tried connecting each Anker one by one. I get 9 on the first one and 6 on the second and nothing more. If I connect a third and add ASICMiners blue light doesn't come on and the computer doesn't recognize it.

I've tried installing the Anker USB hubs in so many way but still can't get more then 15 miners showing up. Does anyone know if this is a OSX limitation or is it the USB Hub?

I'm ready to give up! Sad

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Can you test on a PC?  Are these new hubs?  What miner are you using?  Do you have the USB to uArt drivers installed?

Some suggestions...
- Try Bitminter pool.  It's a java miner that you download right from the site.  It is the easiest miner to get USB Erupters up and running.  And it's a great pool!
- Often times the power supplies go bad on the Ankers.  Switch around the power connectors with a working hub and a non-working hub.  That way you can tell if you have a bad power supply.
- The proper drivers are here... http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/pages/usbtouartbridgevcpdrivers.aspx  Although I'm not sure if they are Mac compatible.
- Lastly, test on a PC if you can.  I can't understand why a brand new Mac Mini doesn't seem to work.  It certainly should.  But it's worth a try.

I tried to help but apparently you didn't try any of my suggestions.   Undecided

Good luck with your problem!  Maybe someone else can help but it doesn't seem like people are flocking here to offer advice.

Attach another hub between the Mac Mini and all the Ankers... but here's the important bit, make sure the in-between hub is a USB2 Powered hub.  That should get it working for you.

I have 45 BE's running on 5 Anker/AITech Hubs + fans all connected through a 12 Port USB2 Powered hub back to my Mac Pro.  Only one USB connection is used on my Mac. All working fine.

Direct USB3 from the Ankers are a bit iffy when you connect multiple to the Mac, and it works much better through a central USB2 Powered Hub, then you can connect almost as many Ankers as you want.

I didn't mean to ignore your suggestions but I already tried bitminter pool with the same results and have loaded the drivers for bfgminer and then removed then an tried cgminer. I've contacted Anker to see if they have any suggestions but I have 5 of their USB hubs and they all seem to be working the same.

Here's a video of my setup: http://youtu.be/v42QBx2UP54

If you notice I have the 12 port USB2 hub attached to the wall behind the drobo.

If you don't want to compile from home brew, you can download the binaries from here: https://github.com/nwoolls/xgminer-osx/releases

Check the read me for instructions.

Same commandline parameters as windows, but in both windows and Mac, it's best to use the builtin config file functionality once you set it up including pools, etc rather than launching with all those parameters everytime from a batch file.

You launch typically by going to where you put the binaries and ./bfgminer -S erupter:all

Yes, and they are available on the same SILabs drivers page as the windows drivers.
