This is good news for all users of cryptocurrency. I hope there are other countries that follow uzbekistan to legalize cryptocurrency as a transaction tool.
hopefully this good news could increase the price of crypto much better.

If this is true then this is definitely a good news. It means that we will have more investors for bitcoin. I hope some other countries follow what this country did. If there are taxes, it will help their country.

Yes it's great, more and more people using Bitcoin will lead to a more valuable price, I think the government has seen Bitcoin is more helping than destroying the country, more countries are preparing to welcome Bitcoin, even though Uzbekistan users is not a lot but it will encourage other country to adopt Bitcoin

This is fairly great news! More and more countries are now showing interest to accept and recognize bitcoin as a digital currency. This will strengthen and stabilize the digital platform in an eventual manner. Although this would entail that regulations will be put in place, but this is nonetheless, great news guys!

With Belarus, no tax for cryptocurrencies is real but I found something wrong with the thread, the website OP gave looks like copying cointelegraph.
Is it me or?

Guys, did you read the article and see something inside talking about the country legalizing cryptocurrencies?
I think the title is misleading if you read the article the point is their president "approved the creation of a competence center for distributed registry technologies at the Mirzo Innovation Center Innovation Center. Its main tasks will be the formation of conditions for using the capabilities of blockchain, increasing the human resources potential and supporting domestic developers in mastering this technology"

The only reference to cryptos is "Earlier, the representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan negatively spoke in relation to virtual money, calling them an instrument for financing terrorism."

I have noticed this but on the first sentence it says
"Already this year, by September 1, a bill that legalizes Bitcoin and other digital currencies in the country will be prepared."

Well, may be this bill that legalizes crypto was ready by September, but signed by government only now?
Sort of, they are getting ready and preparing things to get launch soon as quoted from that article. But I've seen the same news that are giving out dates but it was never followed.
Given that they legalizes bitcoin. As long as they have alot of talented developers they will create coins that is something useful in the future. Consider it has a long journey of success. They will help other neighboring countries especially from Asia.
Creating their own cryptocurrency will be likely to be useless. There are countries who are doing this and if they will implement strict rules of using only their cryptocurrency it will be beneficial to them. But we all know that everyone wants to get involved in bitcoin market and even they create one that's only specific for their country, people will tend to stay to bitcoin.

I think they are more interested in studying Blockchain technology than in legalizing Bitcoins... Some representants of their local Central Bank have already bad-mouthed virtual money (Bitcoin) as it's used to finance terrorist activities. They like the technology, but not necessarily the Bitcoin currency.  Wink

At least that is what it seems...

State to be divided into 3 groups: those who would ban the bitcoin, the ones that allow unlimited development and those who will be handling his appeal. And that's fine, it gives us hope.

This of course well! For a small state like Uzbekistan. This suggests that bitcoin is becoming more popular and is spreading more and more. I would like the blockchain technology to develop further. You are talking about Belarus and Russia. Has anyone seen the Belarusian stock Exchange? The Russian stock exchange is also located on the territory of other States. For example, in the Netherlands. These States are subject to EU sanctions. So there are restrictions on the use of cryptocurrencies. It is not necessary to compare Uzbekistan with Russia and Belarus.

Unfortunately, these are too small and poor countries to somehow affect the cost of bitcoin Sad
