Currently trading is mostly done freestyle in RVN Discord with a few people that Escrow as they can. I am working on a simple Shapeshift type exchange that will allow people to conduct trades safely with Escrow being automated.
How It Works- "Start Trade" button -> select rvn to ltc or ltc to rvn -> enter amount in rvn and amount in ltc -> enter your receive and refund addresses for ltc and rvn .
- Link is displayed, you give this link to the partner you are trading with.
- Your partner clicks link and checks the trade parameters. Once satisfied all is good enters receiver and refund address.
- Both partners now receive notification to add funds. Once both funds reach the agreed upon amount and are confirmed they are paid out - our fee and any miner fee
- Once transaction is finalized and in progress the page essentially becomes a tracking page and shows progress.
- There is a timeout set on transaction and should there be a timeout pending funds are refunded (after confirmations)
Doing it in this way means we do not need to maintain a currency reserve and allows us to offer the service at a low fee (TBD). We may look at adding more pairs once the service is online if there is enough interest.
I would estimate 1-2 weeks before we are ready to open for the public, but it could be a little longer.
