NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) are thinking to use blockchain. What do you think?? By now all the organizations are looking at the blockchain ..... this means that it is revolutionary

This is interesting new but how do they want to use the blockchain technology? To transfer data and stuff like that or is it something more creative?

Yeah definitely because NASA has helped innovations in other fields with their space program, if they adopt blockchain they could figure out a good use for it to help their exploration or even improve on it too.

The blockchain would be quite inefficient just to transfer data - FTP can do it so much faster.   Wink

The blockchain is used to make past transactions unchangeable.  NASA would probably use it for some sort of record keeping.

I read" blockchain technology could have useful applications in distributed spacecraft missions involving multiple elements. Artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies could be further integrated to make space-based sensor networks more efficient and responsive"

If it will happen then its nice. A lot of companies and agencies are now engaging in the world of blockchain technology. However, I am thinking the possible reason why does the NASA and ESA make a blockchain technology? What are their purpose behind it?
