True, but if 7,000 people dumping at a relatively close time, or even just 3,000 to 4,000, which is around half of the total bounty participants, it will create an inevitable ripple effect, a catastrophe. Investors will run away, buyer-wannabe will rethink, holders will let go, and soon everything will diminished.

Yes a stellar address does require 1 lumen to be active and 0.5 lumen to create a trustline to receive assets on the stellar network. This is to reserve the wallet address on the network.

We do realize this is different compared to most other wallets and blockchains. Stellar does reduce this amount over time (it used to be 20XLM). Transactions fees remain below $0.01 for large or small transactions. The stellar network doesnt experience congestion and the transaction fees remain the same whether there is low or high volume on the network.

I also thought it would be that way but after creating my wallet and checking some info out, 1-2 LUMEN is required to verifying your account/wallet... So I'm out!
