Regardless of how well Bitcoin and Ethereum does, cryptocurrency is an antifragile movement, it may be severely weakened by events but it's never going to go away. It had a value long before finance got involved with it (I still remember when a bitcoin was worth 50$ and I couldn't believe it then), and it survived the collapse of Mt. Gox back in 2014, which was the real test of its ability to hold value, not the 2017 bubble, and it passed.
Decentralized cryptocurrency is going to supplant centralized banking currency and NOBODY is read for how severely this will weaken the authority of sovereign states (except maybe the crazy InfoWars crowd).

Not something we didn't know, of course, cryptos can go to zero at any time, it's just like any sort of investment -- it could be worth nothing at any point in time and there's nothing that we can do about it. And I mean this guy just got out of crypto, so his opinion is probably going to be more bearish.

I agree with previous post, all can be dropped to near zero, but in nowadays more likely go to zero traditional investments. All world go to the blockchain

Have you noticed that he said "Crypto currencies" in general and not a specific coin? Vitalik and the Roger Ver crowd are soon going to see how their Alt coin price are going to go to zero. Why, oh well... the Lightning Network with Bitcoin is going to be the ultimate Alt coin killer.  .....Hey, we can wish, right?
