OKOIN is SCAM beware!

1) On their website is "On April 25th, VR Technology company will host a private party with a presentation of the VR OKO headset and content distribution platform. The party will take place in Prague, in the legendary medieval castle Basilica Sacre-Coeur."

In Prague is not that castle, this Castle is in Paris, thousand kilometr far!!!

2) I have called into their office in Prague "+420 212 248 043; info@vrtechnology.cz"

The voice recorder, Czech female voice with Russian akcent "sorry, we want to spare some money, therefore please contact us via email".

3) On the website "https://vrtechnology.cz/developer/?set_lang=en" is "Founded in Prague in 2015 using the founders’ own funds, the company has been exclusively engaged for 2 years in designing, manufacturing, testing and improving the VR OKO headset."

Here is the official document from Department of Justice
https://or.justice.cz/ias/ui/rejstrik-firma.vysledky?subjektId=979284&typ=UPLNY

The company was settled on 3rd July 2017 by Russian guy with basic capital $500.....

Beware and don't put your money into this scam!!

I agree, they have supposedly sold 40,000 VR headsets, yet there are no reviews on the internet.

Their telegram channel is full of shills.

Over 500 VR movies, yet no promo clips for any of them.

They lied when then said you could purchase the VR headset with OKOIN.

The ICO was supposed to finish in January, yet they decided to do another ICO until near the end of April.

None of their claims on the website or the telegram channel have any substance behind them. When questioned about this they offer no explanations, they distract away from answering the questions, and their shills come on to the telegram chat to back them up.

1st ICO only sold 740,000 tokens (checked the okoin etherscan address), (740,000 USD) yet they claim 18 million dollars of tokens sold. ( silent partners they say )

Persons on the OKOIN telegram chat who have ordered the headsets last December, have not received the headsets yet. (OKOIN website guarantees delivery anywhere in 15 days )

They said they would draw up a smart contract for the drawing of the OKO stars party, no smart contract was used.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Save your money, do not buy OKOIN.

VR Technology Team

Hi VR team,
I'm not so young Sherlock. This is your quotation on your website "25. dubna v Praze, v legendárním středověkém zámku Bazilika Sacre Coeur, pořádá VR Technologies uzavřený večírek s prezentací helmy VR OKO a platformy pro šíření contentu."

This place is not a castle, it's a church therefore I didn't find it (as well you didn't provide any website, address etc.). However, ok it could be a mistake your team which has probably not from the Czech Republic.

Why do you have a basic capital just $500? you don't know that this very suspicious for company which wants to raise million dollars via ICO? Why on your website https://vrtechnology.cz/ you have some information only in Russian language? Can you provide some proof about selling VR helmet?

Also....."Our team has been in existence since 2015. But we did not have a goal or tasks" what did you do for a living in these two years? why you don't provide information about your activity regarding to VR OKO project in a period 2015-2017?

I will glad meet you personally, I expect that with 110 employees there is no problem anytime visit you in Legerova street, right?

"Scam hunter" have added some accusation also, please answer to him too.

If you are legit, I will glad tell everybody about your project in my surroundings

Cheers

No answers VR team? It doesn't look good for you. If you cannot provide simple answers on simple questions, your ICO will go 60 days yet i hope nobody will invest until you provide proofs that you are legit. People don't invest your money into projects like this, where devs give a shit answering logical questions

Beware and don't put your money into this scam!!

If it says that it is founded in 2015 but the company is only registered in 2017 with capital of $500, it's probably a scam. All this private party and presentations seems to be cover stories to their sales. Their site actually looks decent, however it seems to be made by a template and isn't original at all.

All I can say is pay them what you can afford to lose, or best yet, just don't.

These shady companies registered in a country outside of yours is probably not the best place to put your money. Advertising that your group is founded in 2015 while saying in public that you have no clear goal before 2017 is just false advertising imo.

Agree mate, this is just an attempt to take money from people, they are not seriously and they cannot prove successful selling their VR helms (over 60k according to their website). People shouldn't waste their money on these "projects"....

Hello VR team,

I have wanted to discus a few things with you personally, thus I have visited your headquarters "Legerova 1820/39, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic". You have according to your words over 110 employees, but you have neither one person, who would operate in your headquarters? Moreover your headquarters even doesn't exist on this address, no spot where a man could ring, no advertising banner...nothing (the proof with images are under that link - https://ulozto.net/tam/_gyRK8YBfZ1rW). I've upload these proofs only here, because your self-moderated thread is manipulated and you are deleting unpleasantly messages. I hope that your articles on media outlets will be removed, because you're only try to cheat people, nothing more.

The little problem is that these scammers repeat their scams again, again and again. There is no trust site where you could read independent reviews about projects, until that people will have to do deep research and be responsible
