afaik paypal buyer protection is only upto a certain amount of money.
once it reaches that and goes above they tend to side with the seller.
i also do not understand the issue why he won't post the proof here rather in PM. in theory we can just take it and paste it here right? so whats the point?

In a few days we will move everything to another place where I can take pictures for you and I'll post them here.
Is that OK?
We have our concerns why this and why that as you have yours.

So far the communication has been good.

I did call PayPal and talked to a nice Indian sounding sounding lady.  I gave her the store e-mail address "admin@minings.gold" and the transaction name of "PayPal * EBAYINEDKOV" and she told me the transaction would be covered by paypal protection.  I asked her if bitcoin miners were considered industrial machinery (not covered) and she asked be for the name "Antminer S9".  I was put on hold and she came back to tell me that it would be covered.  I only recorded the last half of the phone call.

I don't know if it helps anyone or not.  The PayPal phone number I used was 1-888-221-1161

Right, Paypal only covers up to a certain amount. And also the miners would likely be categorized as some sort of computer and not industrial equipment.

Very odd there's not been any real conversation for a while here... maybe people are just waiting for deals to fulfill to come back and say what's happened.

PayPal's limit is like $20,000.  I'd say that's a lot but it isn't when it comes to crypto equipment.  Just something to keep in mind.

I've paid that price per miner recently so I think its a pretty reasonable price considering I bought all 18.

Like I said, paid via paypal. Will post updates as they happen.

Thanks,

If you paid $3400 for each miner, you are insane. If you paid $3400 total for 18, you got scammed. Why the Hell would any legitimate seller, sell 18 ASIC for $3400.00??? If it seems to good to be true well then....it is.

You only live once....if you do it right, once is enough.

If you bought 18 moonlanders, it'd have cost you about half of that...  Embarrassed
It doesn't seem plausible that someone would value their miners as worth only two cheap scrypt sticks...

You dont seem to understand how everyone in here is conditioned by the insane amount of scams in here.  People post this as a warning, if no one did people would be getting ripped off left and right.  In here its guilty until proven innocent like it or leave it but thats how it is.

watching this thread as it's very similar to threads selling miners by the serial scammer that owns these accounts:

Any word? Shipping is basically closed for everywhere now. If they're broken then I don't see why there would be need to scam unless they just don't exist.
