I read about this new site from bitcoinist.com but it seemed suspicious to me. I checked some of the photos on their site and they have been copied from elsewhere, as you can see from the links.

https://coinjolt.com/about-us (scroll down to see the pics of the supposed team)

Ryan Harrington - Cyber Security = https://www.epicscotland.com/

Larry Finkle - Market Research = https://www.greenline.com.au/about-us/our-team

There are other photos which are faked too.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Appreciate the warning but I think this is posted in the wrong section you should move the topic to the Scam Accusation board by using the "move topic" option on the bottom part of the page.

They took down all of these photos, it seems. Don't want other people to realize this I guess.

All their articles on bloomberg and other news sites are being paid off by them. So it's really nothing like organic media attention. It's all paid, if you like. Also their site says that it's copyright 2011-2018, but the domain has been registered in 2012 and the bloomberg article has only came out in February. I'm sure that bitcoinist also listed it only some time ago. Why would they pose as a more experienced exchange when in reality, they are brand new?

Also if they are caught faking the pics, it's obvious. They're just here to take your money. They say that they are fully regulated, but fail to mention who regulates them and in which country.

None of those images match our staff or employees.

This thread was created by one of our competitors and is a clear motive of defamation. The original poster has 1 post count, which means this user had created an account just to post these fraudulent accusations and this thread was moved by a senior administrator when it was posted on the other sections of these boards with the most popularity to spread as much reputational damage as possible.

We've already reported this thread to be taken down as this is a clear attempt to defraud our company.

I am extremely disappointed at the level of moderation on these boards.

If you would like to speak with us, feel free to call our toll-free number 1-888-998-9980 or email us at support@coinjolt.com

I'm just going to say that they ARE in fact a scam. I created an account and transferred $20 USD, bought Ethereum, waited a couple days, sold my Ethereum and tried to withdraw to my bank account simply to test their service before making any real purchases of a larger amount.

The withdrawal request was made on March 3rd, 2018. Today is the 21st.. I STILL haven't received anything from them. That's plenty long enough. Besides this, I have sent numerous emails to their support email with ZERO RESPONSE.

STAY AWAY from Coinjolt.com. They are indeed a scam.

I apologize for any inconvenience and I'd be happy to sort this out for you.

Hello,

We appreciate your concern and assure you we are a legitimate and fully licensed company. There may have been images used as placeholders from our development team which we have removed.

We're still in the process of development to bring you one of the best investment platforms in cryptocurrency, so stay tuned!

- Brian Phiffer

Please show any licenses that you hold as proof. I could not find it on your website.

Also your website shows that your company has been around since 2011, which isn't the case as a whois lookup shows that your domain creation date was in fact in late last year. According to your you are able to generate a 'bare minimum of 200% per year' off your portfolio, which is way too big of a return to possibly sustain in the long term.

I'm not buying the placeholder picture story. Even with the updated team, I could not find any linkedin profiles or any descriptions outside of your site.

BTW:
Quote
Blake enjoys trading Bitcoin and Ethereum for 2-5% daily returns. His passive-aggressive trading approach enables a mitigation of risk by trading establishing capitalized assets during volatility.

You do realize that even with 2% per day returns, it would compound to 1300% yearly returns? Do I need to explain to you how unsustainable and absurd it sounds or should I call Vod???

I am a bit shocked to read the reviews here. I have used Coinjolt without any trouble at all. I think it is always important to follow the instructions when signing up and making sure all information is accurate.

I invested 17000 Euros in February without any problem. Bitcoin suddenly dropped and I deposited 10000 Euros more a week later.

My bank transfers always came in, and most importantly, my bank transfers always came out as well, when it was time to put some money back into my bank account from trading. I highly recommend coinjolt, especially if you are new to the crypto world with little experience. I am very pleased with it. 99% of the people in this thread are idiots who don't know anything about cryptocurrency, or the mining and transaction fees associating with it and because you made a typo in your payment.. that doesn't mean the company is a scam. CoinJolt is really best for inveseting in digital currency;

Hey Guys,

Updating as requested. Still haven't heard back from Coinjolt.com on my submitted request. Been months now. Don't believe the scammers. At least I was only testing their system and only lost $20 USD.

I deposited $20 Feb 21st 2018 and have not received anything and no contact either.

DON'T TRUST COINJOLT.COM. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!

So.. I finally got paid my $20 from Coinjolt and the first thing they asked me to do was to update this post. Funny that I hear NOTHING from them for 3 months, then I receive a response that "there was a problem with my banking information" and THAT was the problem.. I mean, what's wrong with say.. idk.. sending me an email about it a few days after the issue arises??!

So, I am going to keep testing them and I'll post on the results. Only going with slightly more money as I still don't trust them when it takes them 3 MONTHS to get a response on multiple requests to hear back from them over $20.

I'll keep you guys posted.

I can confirm that coinjolt.com is full of shit and that they only steal your money.
A few weeks ago they "updated their platform" and since then all my money and holdings are gone.
And no reply to my e-mails since then.

Yes, this exact thing happened to me.  My holdings are gone.  Before the "platform update" I requested a bank transfer of my US funds but that request was also scrubbed from the site after the update.  No response to any of my emails, calls etc. Stay away.  Even if I get my money back and their claims about website issues are legit, their lack of customer service makes them a shit company.

Not sure what all of the fuss is about. Never had a problem with Coin Jolt and been with them for almost a year now. Deposits and withdrawals have always been same day even after the platform upgrade.

I've been in the cryptocurrency space for a while now and noticed a lot of these "sting" operations where competitors will start attacking each other, which has become especially easy on a public forum like this...

1 post warriors with no credibility making fraudulent claims probably from Estonian peeps.. tons of dog shit companies there.

Coin Jolt is based out of Isle of Man in the EU. Been to there offices. They're the real deal.

Please.  And your "credible" self only has 8 posts.  I posted here hoping for some action on their part because Coinjolt actually responded to a complaint in this thread.  These guys are scammers.  They started getting a little heat on twitter and they close their account.  Coinjolt's official position was that they were having problems with the website during the "website upgrade" yet you say it was working flawlessly the whole time.    Sure pal.

Post Coinjolt's address, it should be in your GPS history. Grin

All you have to do is google coinjolt scam.  All the stories are the same.
