It seems like Mt.Gox has made a mess of things and still hasn't sorted things out.
Needless to say that other exchanges like coinbase and bitstamp will take its place.
The question is wherever Mt.Gox has made more people wary.
Sites like foodler still tie their prices to Mt.Gox...

Of course, there's still millions that are tied up there for safekeeping when Bitcoinica liquidated, $10,000 of which was belongs to an elderly chap here in Sandwich, IL, due to me giving him my blessing at the time that the Bitcoinica was a safe place to invest.

After Bitcoinica went belly-up, I was out $20K+, and still feel the effects from that fiasco due to people here in Sandwich, IL, believing that I'm the key guy behind Bitcoin and most the scams that have taken place. They see me flush with money (somewhat), not believing that it's truly from barn wood sales, even after having to move a couple of my warehouses due to zoning and EPA concerns and cleanup due to lead paint, plus believing that I donate to the local Autism charity because my conscience is eating at me for ripping off so many people.

Prior to Bitcoin, I was well-known because my dad and I donated and resold cheaply furniture to the locals. After his passing, I'm now well-known for nefarious reasons, thanks to Bitcoinica. BTW, it was during that time frame that my ignore turned orange, having probably only a couple people ignoring me prior. It's a shame that after giving Xian a stronger voice, he too now ignores me for falsely believing I drink the Kool Aid and took a bribe, of which all that monies will be donated to Bitcoin related causes--then some.
