Though red really hurts our eyes because that gives us a loss but being red of the market also gives us good profit so yes we feel disappointed sometimes because of this but more often the not when market turns green and we bought in dip those disappointment turns to exciting and feeling accomplished for what we have done. There is enough reason to conclude, with strong and solid basis and facts, that the year 2017 ended up with a very huge growth not just of Bitcoin but also of so many altcoins. I don't know where you are coming from when you say that last year was not a happy investing year, or the growth was not seen. On the contrary, the early months of last year were a very bullish season for many of the cryptocurrencies. There was a correction that followed. And then there was a normal rise and fall of the prices. But then again by the time the year was about to close, another very bullish growth was again experienced.

According to my opinion, the cryptocurrency market is going to grow this year because of the proof from the graph of cryptocurrencies prices in year 2017, 2016, and 2015. In early quarter of the year 2015 up to 2017 shows that the cryptocurrencies market is red but in the end of each year all cryptocurrencies grows more than its loss.

2018 could well be all in red, after the sharp growth of 2017, as it has been 2014 after the then sharp growth of 2013. The market works like that, big rises in price need then to be consolidated and this takes time.
