As many of you know we were under ddos attack for a significant amount of time and many of you were unable to access your accounts and balances.

Cloudflare doesn't hide your IP completely it simply is one extra layer which is easily bypassed by most malicious users. The only true way to deter these sorts of attacks would be through DDoS mitigation (Prolexic).
