what if bounty manager for signature campaign gives you merit

i just thinking what if those bounty manager of signature campaign gives merit to their participants, it will help each other the bounty will be advertise and the participants can have merit that requires to rank up, its a little bit harder to being ranked up.

yeah but how many they can give? For example you are member and you need 100 merit to be a fullmember, and you are not the only one who joined the campaign, what can a manager do? If you look lately,  a lot of projects running their campaigns as a newbie. So this is just a hope, not much.

But as i understand so far merit system is limited to specific points to give for any rank available , so it will not work smoothly specially if signature manager participate in many different campaigns . really merit system is very difficult to get higher rank for me i don't know which year i will move to full member because it mainly depend on member evaluation .

its really hard to get rank up because of the merit system, well i pray someone will give me merit though.

I think it's a good idea. Of course it will not be enough to get a higher rank but it will help for sure. But I think the bounty programs/managers will than want more from the members of campaigns. for example higher number of posts...

this is a good idea though everyone wants to rank up but this merit things came. so if you participate in some of bounties and the bounty become success. the manager must give merit to his participant.

but i think the higher moderator will not agree with this idea. because this merit has a different purpose. and that is to make some of the members in this forum will give importance to his post and topics

Most bounty managers would have negative trust if that would happen. Merits are supposed to be given out only if the post of ones person is decent nad have thoughts and it (quality post).You are just like suggesting people to spam the thread of reports in the bounty thread of ICO and other related subjects.

im in agreement with any proposal that gives hope for us get merit points so we can rank up , this idea i like particularly as the mangers would be in a better position to evaluate post and even assign merit points based on the level of production and knowledge .

I think it’s literally dependant on the campaign manager & what they want to do, they’re running the campaign after all. Totally their choice, I don’t think it should be compulsory but it might encourage those in their campaign to make extra effort to ensure their posts are extra constructive, concise & clear.

Well, that would really be a great thing if the participants really do deserve it due to their great quality posting that really contributes to this forum and its community. But the thing is, even when on a campaign that has a whole team that managing it, their smerits alone are pretty much not enough for all the participants. So it is just completely impossible.

I think what Op is asking for is whether it is possible for an individual to get a merit point from a campaign manager and I believe that is possible because the campaign manager is also part of the forum member and are also entiled to exercise the rights as a member.

Being busy and not being able to spot nice post is out of it. The issue I think is that the merit is not being given justfully.

I’ve seen bounty managers with neutral trust also so it really is dependant on who the poster is. Merit sources have to be a somewhat established member & have no negative or neutral trust imo.

Well, that would really be a great thing if the participants really do deserve it due to their great quality posting that really contributes to this forum and its community. But the thing is, even when on a campaign that has a whole team that managing it, their smerits alone are pretty much not enough for all the participants. So it is just completely impossible.

Although improbable to reward everybody in the campaign, if managers were given 2-4x smerits than there were participants you could accordingly give them out to the best posters or adequate posters. Only problem with this is that it puts more work on the managers for no extra compensation and for that reason it seems like a moot point.

good point well i wish all of constructive and member that puts efforts to their post must have merits however the merits system not so accurate by distribution of merits points
